Do you automatically ignore people based on their country of origin due to stereotypical attitudes with regards to people from that country?

No. Even if I've had bad experiences with them, I always like to give them a chance to proof they aren't like the others.

Maybe only Somalians, Palestinians and Maldives people are the only exception. And people from black Muslim African countries. Those scare me honestly, and I don't trust them and want nothing to do with them.

And Hasidic Jews. They're mean, and have extreme attitudes towards Christians/Catholics and I don't feel comfortable around them at all.

And if I see a Muslim in very conservative clothing, I like to avoid them, but that has more to do with their culture, than their nationality.

Stereotypes are based on observations of the majority. Humans naturally have pattern recognition. So stereotyping is inevitable. For most of us that aren't racist, it's why we are wary of people based on their apparent ethnic background. But we are also open minded enough to know not everyone is the same and to judge them through the individual actions.

Nope, if I ignore someone based on their country, it’s because I’ve experienced a massive abundance of incredibly unpleasant interactions with people from that country.

No, I generally don't. There's certainly patterns though, and the pattern does make it more or less likely that I will like someone from a country. But in the end not everyone is the same as the main culture in a country and its always up to the person if I like them or not.

No, I automatically ignore stupid people and assholes based on their behavior and beliefs. I don't care whey they came from or the color of their skin. Talking to people from different places is actually a lot of fun.
