Are these deep cuts?

I ended up messing around in my dad’s garage and ended up tripping and cutting my arm on something. It’s been a week, and they bled for a couple of days but they’re closed now. Should I have told somebody and/or should have gotten stitches? I’m not allowed in my fathers garage, so I didn’t want to tell him.

No, those are scratches. I had an angle grinder hump my leg with a cut off wheel attached and didn't need stitches.

Speaking of that today a 3 inch Roloc disc pad adapter pad holder assembly came apart on me today one of the pieces flew and hit my leg and it was swollen it was like I had another kneecap

Ya it did, that was a couple years or so ago, it hurt but no permanent damage.

Those look completely fine, I've taken care of much deeper cuts by myself.

They don't look deep. I hope you washed them, I'd just make sure you take care of them so they don't open up again.

Okay! They started to scab up on the sixth day, but I always kept a bandaid on them and etc.

You should be perfectly fine then. I've gotten deeper cuts than that and haven't needed stitches. If you can't separate the two sides of the cut, even skin deep, it doesn't need stitches generally.

I was able to but since they’re small and I put a lot of peroxide and rubbing alcohol, and medicated ointment on them daily they healed better.

Don't worry , it's perfectly fine, just be careful , don't get it infected. Also probably use some antiseptic to clean it up

No, they should heal fine before too long. Just keep them clean so you don’t get an infection.

Okay, thank you! I have put ointment on them, peroxide and rubbing alcohol. I’d rather have just a few cuts instead of getting my arm cut off. 😂

Yeah, just be careful hydrogen peroxide and rubbing alcohol can do some further cell damage. But they look like pretty superficial and clean cuts.

Well crap. Does this mean my skin is going to scar badly, or will it scar normally?

No, you should be fine. I doubt the scars will show at all unless you pick at it. just keep it clean and let it heal on its own.

It looks pretty good to me. If it's been a few days and you haven't seen any redness around the cuts or red lines streaking up your arm then it's not infected and you're good

I saw redness and some green stuff but I think it was just because it was healing from the inside.
