According to my frenemy who is a doctor: The most significant weight loss anyone will ever have is by eating fewer calories. It's hard, because our bodies want us to pack on fat for long winters without food, evolutionarily speaking.
Overall you want to reduce the carbs and sugars you eat, reduce overall calories, try to get the biggest volumes of food as green vegetables, increase protein intake to help keep yourself feeling full on fewer calories.
Learn to cook. Then YOU control the hidden fats, hidden sugars, etc.
I do not think you need to lose weight, but it is a good time to learn healthy eating and cooking habits.

Do you drink sodas? If so stop. Get juice from actual fruit, don't buy fruit juice. Cut back on Salt, cut back red meat. Double up on veggies, but don't cover them in sauce or butter. Limit your pasta. Stay away from candy, ice cream, fried foods, and chips. In the gym get some cardio in, join a group fitness class, find other people who have similar goals. Lift weights. Remember you can't out work bad eating habits. Good luck.
Eat healthy, go running, do abs exercises and arms chest exercises and swimming. And do yoga if you like... keep in mind its a changing long term life style. But it's up to u to change and you'll start seeing results fast and you'll love yourself a lot once you reach a weight goal u set up for u only. Good luck. All the best.
Get a dog and go poor. Don't buy more than you NEED to eat, and walk and play with the dog (also if it gets loose a lot and you have to chase it down that is better). Walk places instead of driving (to an extent), and don't buy drinks for at home because you already have tap water. This works great to prevent you from gaining weight, and can help you lose it.
Kinda odd the question is half in imperial units and half metric. That's a decent weight, that's why the doctor said close to overweight but not actually overweight. Activity works better for me than dieting, but everyone is different. You have to learn your body.

I used to be 50 punds overweight but now im preparing for my first fitness comp! I count my macros! go on bodybuilding. com's macro builder to find your stats but be very honest when you create them. Alos lift weights. each patch of muscle is like sticking personal fat burner on your body. Do the stair climber or hiit cardio to help too
protein rich foods and the elliptical for an hour each day minimum should work. good luck and your ideal weight is 104 to 135 or apx. 47 kg to 61.3 kg just in case you wanted to stick with that range
Do something everyday. Wake up, do some push-ups. Go to bed, do some sit-ups. It doesn't matter so much what you do so much how/how often you do it. Stay active and the problem will solve itself.
Nothing will work if you don't step out from your comfort zone, join gym or running in a park, use youtube for tips and methods eat vegitables as much as you can
Don't think about it just make positive healthy life choices.

No lifting weights for loosing weights... If you have been consistency...I walk a lot and I have herbal tea like a few times a day, especially after I have a take away.
You don't look 60kg in your picture though.. are you all muscles?
Man, just eat some vegetables, do 30 minutes of exercise 5 days a week and dont eat shitty fast food. simple.
The best way to lose weight is to reduce the amount of Calories you intake. Maybe you could have some zero or low calorie snacks instead of normal snacking like sugar free popsicles.
Is that you in your pic? Your doctor is probably just going by BMI which is a load of crap and you don't need to lose weight at all
