What could be causing visible and green/blue veins on my face?

I always knew that I had a faint green baby vein under one of eyes, but never thought anything of it; however, I recently looked into an extremely well-lit makeup mirror today only to see that little vain... and the other veins that it connected to. The upper left corner of my face showed a very clear, partial image of the vascular system in my face, which was pretty freaky and kind of made me self-conscious. In normal lighting/everyday life, they aren't visible, at least I never noticed them until I was in front of that brightly lit mirror.

I instantly thought "varicose veins" until I looked it up; these veins don't bulge at all; my entire face is smooth. I also read somewhere that this can come with having very clear/blemish free skin (which I have), but I've never really heard of that. Have you know that I'm a 20 year old woman with medium to dark brown skin.

My face didn't look too different from this, only my veins looked a lot thinner/cleaner, and were green:

What could this be? Is it bad?

Here is my take. In your picture I noticed that the whites of your eyes are not really white but have a bluish gray tinge. There is a genetic connective tissue disease called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. There are 13 different subtypes of this disease but the one that stands out to me is VEDS or Vascular Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Do you have the same road map look on your chest? Please read up on it because it is a seriously dangerous condition.

Interesting! I'll read into this out of curiosity; however, the picture above is not me.

My sclera is a normal white color, and the roadmap is only under that eye, interestingly.

sun, environmental factors genes. nothing serious though if it is a problem you can get them "fixed" probably with a cost.

May be strain on eyes or stress on brain? You going through hard times? Jus askin..
