Which path would you choose?

If you lift weights you are likely to have heard of these four guys

Scooby (Hard work and virtues)

Zyzz (Aesthetics, ascension and early grave)

RippeToe (fat Superman)

Seid (Aesthetics, ascension, Satanic)

This depends on one thing:
Is the early grave in the "PATH OF ZYZZ" a direct result of the hard drug usage mentioned?

Because I was under the impression that I was simply given access to parties and drugs, but wasn't being forced to partake. In which case, I could simply leave, go about my life as normal, and find myself a loving girlfriend, once I acquired my desired physique. That way I could salvage my lifespan by refusing the drugs.

So yeah, I'd choose Zyzz, unless the shortened lifespan was inevitable--regardless of the lifestyle I chose--in which case, I'd just have to suck it up and forfeit 10 years of my life to good ol' Scooby.

The shortened lifespan is due to the Ascension, i. e. you get godly physique after a short period. The hard drugs and party lifestyle have no negative health effect, that is also due to the Ascension!
The cost is you won't live the last 20 or so years of your life, some people gladly take this deal, it's like being an ancient warrior.

I guess I'll take Scooby then... In reality, I'd rather just live a normal life than any of these lol.

I think you're misreading something, path of Scooby means you have to spend another 10 years to train on the mountain lol no one will turn you back into a young man
