High school aged girls; What do you use/do for your skin?

I was just wondering because I've been having some problems with that and I can't seem to find something that works for me. And I know everyone's skin is different, but I just want to see what actually works for other people &for ideas of what to try. So..yeah, thanks for answering(:

I graduated from high school 2 years ago (gosh, I'm old) and for your oily forehead you should buy CVS or Clean & Clear brand oil absorbing sheets. They're like portable tissue paper sheets that you dab on your skin to absorb the oil. They don't remove your makeup either.

Also, be wary of the foundation you're using. I don't usually have problems with my skin and I didn't realize until today that the new foundation I've been using (Maybelline Fit) has caused me to break out. I now have 2 tiny, p**** pimples in the most obscure places -- 1 above my eyebrow, 1 beside my nose... And of course I have a date tomorrow. -_- So that's just something to consider.

If you're serious about getting good, clear, healthy skin you'll need to invest in a good cleanser, toner and skin care regiment. I recommend the Purity Philosophy line and Clarisonic Mia. Pricey but effective.

On the cheaper end of the spectrum, I've heard good things about Proactiv and Neutrogena.

Uhm well my forehead is usually kind of oily, it's only noticeable if you touch it. And That's where I have most of my acne. And I get really stubborn pimples one at a time usually in between my eyebrows and my chin..And they are really hard to get rid of. If I don't pop them I don't think they'd ever go away haha

I say try different products, like the ones you listed above, & see what works best for you.

Helpful tip, I used to eat greasy foods, like fast food, pizza, you name it... I always had acne after I ate these foods, as soon as I stopped eating bad food, my acne went away. So, it could just be the food your eating...

^ That's what my doctor said. Some people don't do well with milk, sugar, junk food (obviously) and that wreaks havoc on your skin.

Neutrogena worksgreat for me! I will use the grapefruit scrub then put on their ance stress control stuff. If I use them regularly, then the acne goes away. Stress might be another thing causing acne, or your period. Those are the times when I get more acne. Good luck!

After dealing with acne for almost 7 years,my best advice is:

Over the counter products rarely work and the ones that do,tend to be the high end expensive "systems"

I use the "9 to 5" cleanser from Lush followed by "breath of fresh air" toner. My skin is pretty good so it doesn't need much, that just keeps it as clear as possible :)

i use neutrogina, but I have always had pretty good skin so I don't know if it would be good if your skin is more difficult
