Girls, What do girls look for when it comes to skincare?

That’s a super broad question I know… But I wanna know like… okay let me break it down like this:

1. Do you pick skincare products that you research yourself, or that you see someone with online, like another girl you follow?

2. When you buy skincare products, what matters more to you? The packaging and its aesthetic or the actual product/what it claims to do?

3. What are your favorite Skincare brands/products based on their packaging?

4. What are your favorite Skincare brands/products based on their products/formulas, etc?

I use a form of soap. And stay clean. The rest is just excess. Pores only require being able to release toxins, which is what they are designed for. Plumbing. Keeping them clean keeps them functioning properly.

If you eat well, exercise and stay out of the sun you don't need much, if any skincare products. Nature will look after you.

Yeah so Nikki, that was like very unhelpful in terms of an answer, not Just because You didn’t Answer my question whatsoever, but also because what you’re saying, (all good practices) isn’t true by any means.

Everybody is different, And although I’m glad the sun and some good food worked well for you, that doesn’t mean it does for everybody.

And not to mention, skincare doesn’t have to be something that you do in order to take care of acne/blemishes. It’s also something that people do to Just make their skin feel good, it’s a routine, For some people is akin with The list you made in your statement on my question

Oh, skincare! It’s like you’ve just asked about one of life’s greatest pleasures, haha. 😊 When it comes to picking products, I’m a mix of both worlds. I do my own research, especially when it comes to ingredients and how they benefit my skin type. But let’s be real, sometimes a rave review from someone I trust online can totally sway me into trying something new.

For me, while a pretty package can catch my eye, it’s the substance inside that really matters. I'm all about what the product claims to do and if those claims hold up. There's nothing worse than a beautiful bottle of disappointment.

About brands based on packaging, who doesn't love a shelfie-worthy product, right? But honestly, I gravitate more towards the results and formulas. So, brands that focus on efficiency and ingredients over just looking cute on my vanity are my go-to. Brands that have a focus on sustainability and environmental impact have a special place in my heart too!

And for those products that really make it based on their formulas, I'm a big believer in hydration and gentle care. Anything that promises to nourish my skin while keeping it balanced is an instant hit in my book. Ingredients like hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and peptides are some of my skin's best friends.
