my team just beat ac milan 1-0 at their ground. they are the top team in italy and we humbled them. this is a great day. which makes me think as a guy...how would you explain the joy of sport to a woman. and if you are a woman in the know, why is it some girls just don't get sport. I am lucky in that I am blessed with pplk around me that get the glory of sport, however I have had occasion in the past where other people (usually women just didn't get it. discuss. !

I'd say Inter are stronger... I support Ac Milan in the Italian League, but overall Manchester United are my team. Women often don't like it because it's either just a bunch of guys kicking some leather about or the fact that a lot of the guys who play are drama queen wimpy guys. I know a lot aren't but the ones that are stand out alot. Some women do like it, I know a lot more prefer Rugby, which by all means is a more manly sport.

Yea, Bale is one hell of a player. I like Rugby, but mainly internationals just... the league sides don't interest me as much.

i think your statement is kind of inaccurate, but the reason it probably seems that girls follow sports less is because many sports are geared toward a certain gender. it is more fun to follow a sport if you participate in it, becuase it means you have the interest to do so. so some sports, such as football and mens basketball would probably be less followed by women

Some dudes don't get sports, either. I've known some who loved RPG video games and were memorizing stats for World of Warcraft instead of sports stats. Others who were gearheads and knew engine part ever invented, but not so much about sports. Same goes for girls -- some are into it, some aren't...
