That depends on age, sex, race, body-composition (in terms of ratio of fat, muscle, water, etc.).
The height-weight basis (like with B. M. I.) has its merits, but also its limitations. B. M. I. was invented by an insurance-statistician, so it measures health-risks, not health itself. Other prior-mentioned considerations aren't part of the calculation.

Even the source for that graph mentions its limitations:

For a more-accurate, personalized reading, here is the B. M. I.-calculator of London's National Health Service (N. H. S.), which actually does take those factors into account.

And if you're not familiar with the U. K.-empirical weight-measure of 'stone' (that's mandatory with the tool), here is an lb-stone converter:
https://www.convertunits.com/from/lb/to/stone
But consider other measures to supplement B. M. I., like waist-size, waist-to-height ratio, or body-fat percentage.

"Your result suggests you are underweight. If you are receiving treatment for an eating disorder then this tool is NOT to be used.
There may be an underlying medical cause for your weight, or your diet may not be providing you with enough calories. We suggest you discuss this with your GP."
Huh‽ Maybe, there was a mistake in the lb → stone conversion. So, re-trying might help. Or using another unit-conversion site?
I doubt the British taxpayers would tolerate their taxpayers' money spent on a inaccurate tool. But if it numbers were accurate, I guess you can enjoy food more, with being overweight or obese being the least of your concerns!
Wow.. It’s kind of disgusting and ignorant how they just decide low weight, results from food refusal.. Millions more people of the would suffers from poverty and famine induced low weight.
So basically according to BMI, people who don’t have access to food, don’t exist. Or don’t matter.
Aside from the fact there are ABSOLUTELY normal healthy people who fall below weights, they are willing to declare “ healthy”.🙄
Lol in case it’s not clear, that observation is not directed toward either of you 😊
@mistixs
I find your Weight to be ideal provided no other health problems.. but I know you say you do have problems so I understand you are not happy with it.
For me the equivalent BMI, at my height. I find it perfect. Drs irritate me. She shouldn’t grimace anyhow. It’s her job to be impartial and rational, and not cause you extra stress with her emotions. imagine she grimaced when someone came in with an unsightly growth. It’s unprofessional.
Wow forgot this wasn’t my post. Sorry for butting in 🤦♀️
@VIVANT No problem. This is the Internet and this is a public conversation. Joining in & of itself is no problem. Haven't we all seen users (in G@G & elsewhere) barging into conversations with cursing, insults, slurs, and other report-able content?
Your content was relevant and contributed, so all is well. It seems the N. H. S. has forgotten the less fortunate & (I would add) the overzealous health-nuts who may have been mis-/uninformed enough to take fasting to the other extreme.
@mistixs Well, how are your other numbers? If you have your doctor's support & blessing, you can probably enjoy the coming festivities to the fullest, guilt-free! Otherwise, at least you can enjoy not having the weight-problems most of us have during this season.
Nope. "Ideal weight" is not a useful concept, as it varies from person to person depending on their bodies natural equilibrium. Like many modern tables, this one is biased against people with larger bodies, and omits the issue of anorexia entirely.
Heavyish, but people tend to be heavy Where I live, so I guess yeah. Probably normal.
It makes me 10 pounds underweight which is consistent with what else I've read

Those are some wide ranges and it all seems a bit heavier then it should
Sounds about right. I'm 5'4" 138 lbs and I'm borderline normal to slightly overweight limit for my height.
Yes.
Everyone saying no is factually, objectively, measurably wrong.
Fairly broad ranges, so yeah I’d say it works
