Defeated maybe not, but yes, slowed down to a controllable rate until hopefully we have a vaccine or effective drug to treat those that have been infected.
no, cuz its a zootic pathogen. as long as it can live in animals, it will be around for the foreseeable future. if it was just a human virus, then yes.
No. This is just made to lower the number of serious cases so the hospitals can treat them, and the risk of spreading. The virus in itself will stay until we find a vaccine. And even then, it will be like the flu, a seasonal vaccine.
Yes, but it needs to be everyone doing it. Can we call stay inside or in our yard (for those of us that have animals in need of peeing and pooping outside) for 14 days straight. Yes, but people won't do that. At least not enough.
YES.. If you are still alive after 14 days isolation. and keep your hands clean you have beaten it. You just have to wait for everyone else to do the same...
isolation is more about slowing than stopping. slowing the spread so the hospitals aren't flooded and over exerted and slowing the spread long enough to make a vaccine
Nope. It really won't be defeated until after it's run it's course. I don't care how isolation you get or how many gallons of water you use, if you're going to get a virus you're going to get it.
I think it can be defeated in starting to believe in the truth that each our bodies is a wonder and it's own doctor. So stop taking a those medications of the pharma industries because it would be bad for their business if you'd be healthy.

PREVENTED through good hygiene
DEFEATED through vaccine
I think it's a temporary solution but it's definitely not the cure to the Coronavirus. That's why countries are racing to develop a finished vaccine.
No. It's not about defeating it. It's about reducing new cases and delaying it till we can develop a vacinne.

I’m not sure what the answer is but I have found it interesting to see the numbers of cases without feeling ill.
Not so long as you have 10% of the population not giving a damn ans continuing to spread it.

Yes. If it has no one to spread to, it dies. That's how viruses work.

No Haha but it definitely helps keep it under control

You're the dumb one. He never said that - or even implied it.
@dandee55 thanks for your reply
Be little careful with how often since we have bacteria that protect us from all kind of diseases and infections.
It will slow down the transmission, but it will NOT defeat the whole virus.
No, the coronavirus can only be defeated by injecting ourselves with disinfectant and sunlight.
