I think I’m tougher than I look! I could definitely surprise people if they’ve never had any kind of training before and a very average looking physical specimen such as myself delivers some good shots to their face lol

Physically I’m probably tougher than I look, because I’m thin and petite but I can surprise you.

I'm "durable" in that I can work many local teenagers into the ground.
Am I "tough" in a fight? Not particularly.I have survived being stabbed in the head, starvation, and routine beatings and this was before I was five. I have survived hypothermia, having had to walk several miles back to my camp after having fallen into a frozen pond, through several feet of snow in late January.
I have had to get stitches seven different times, in every case I have stunned doctors at how seemingly indifferent I am to it (after nearly dying from getting stabbed in the head, a few stitches are nothing), even offered to help one doctor when she was struggling to take them out. I should have also gotten stitches in my shin after slipping and smashing it into a metal counter edge, I'd guess about six to eight based upon the size of the gash, but instead of spending all that money I walked home on it with blood pooling in my socks, shoved gauze in the hole, wrapped it then went to bed.
This is amongst several other things so yes, I do think I could hold my own and am physically tough.Mental toughness is a key factor to physical toughness and vice versa. So if you’re jacked but sensitive then probably a bad outcome in a fight. I know people where they’re much thinner than others and can beat the hell out of the other guy that’s prob 2x his weight. Mentality is important
Used to do all kinds of martial arts as a kid. jiu jitsu, judo, boxing and taekwondo. Submitting school bullies and average trouble makers always been piss easy but obviously couldn't stand a chance against more trained opponents. It's funny how everyone says "yes, yes absolutely" without being more specific. Really everyone beats everyone here? interesting.
Do i have buff body no not at all. But if someone tries to fight me... Let's just say i have no cap on what i do, i am not really capable of holding back if it ever gets to the needed point.
And you been able to fight and not caring about pain nor breaking bones just to stop the other person seems to work better than just oh i look buff lol.
so yes i would say i am. Plus i am scary cold in a fight or so i've been told. Kinda don't remember. But i have been told i just stay completely quite and emotionless even when i broke some of my bones.
Once out of the fight tho i will cry like a baby so there is that lmao.I've fucked several people up in bar fights when drunk jackasses are being rude and degrading to some of the girls/friends I'm there with making sexist comments towards them because they can't get laid. I've also had my ass kicked on one occasion because I was a bit too tipsy and told a group of two other dudes their football team sucked (kind of hilarious in hindsight) and that the patriots were the best. Then they told me laughing lets' go then mate and we were all smiling because we were all sick fucking wankers who enjoyed doing shit like that. Then I got a fist slammed into my face and woke up outside several hours later and iced down. Fun story though.
Well, my dream is to have 6 or 8 pack abs and build muscles, but yes I think I am physically tough enough to fight and hold my own. Even if I cannot get an upper hand, I would continue defending myself. Won't give up though.
However, if the person is a black belt of a expert martial artist then I would rather not fight them in them in the first place.
Hence to sum it up, I would say I am not yet physically tough enough. I want to be physically tough though, like increasing my muscle mass, and having abs and great strength etc. I am serious about this but haven't been dedicated in doing this. I have procrastinated so far.I’ve been a martial artist trained in several martial arts for over 10 years now. And I’ve been sparred, fought and competed since that point.
I prefer to to avoid violence if possible but if I have to I can and will engage in it.
And I work a manual labor job where I lift and move tens of thousands of pounds per day in addition to various other tasks like cleaning out seed bins which are basically giant freezers or ovens depending on the season, climbing up them, doing repairs, putting things together, walking fields, among other tasks. I’ve worked in 112 degree weather and below 10 degree weather. Sometimes working 16 hour shifts.
If that ain’t tough I don’t know what isII have two opposites strangely enough. What I mean is that my arms are pretty weak and I have poor muscle tone in them which is my fault honestly for letting them get that way. But my legs are actually quite strong as I do a lot of walks and stuff and I was a pretty fast runner. So yeah I'm a bit of a double edged sword XD
I had no choice in my teens to turn myself into a skilled fighter to sort out bullies giving me grief ( now my own daughter is dealing with this crap !! ) & a savage beating is the only language they understand. Later joined British Army and passed P Company ( Para training & selection ) I will admit I won't be as tough now... buy then... pay with interest later , when it comes to various injuries haunting me from Army service combined with a history of various combat sports , which I simply enjoyed , not into team sports as much. I will be taking my feisty daughter back to Lethwei / MMA training if / when this lockdown is finally over !!
Tougher than most but I don’t like to brag
Okay who am I kidding I fucking love to brag, but you already have a pretty good idea of the kind of ass I kick.nah I mean I'm not but like everyone else on here flexing their egos at least I admit I'm not lol, I've been in altercations and been just fine, but I've seen some gnarly shit and nah don't hold a candle to it
I do. I'm not cocky about it, everybody meets their maker eventually but I'm fairly scrappy and have kicked a few asses when it was necessary.
Lost a lot of my strength due to injuries and surgeries, but I'm still a tough son of a bitch. So even if I can't kick ass anymore, I ain't gonna be so easy to put down either. I mean I don't know many other people who can say they manned themselves out of a coma.
I keep active and stay fit. I'm more of an endurance gal than a strength gal though. Slowly working my way to squatting and leg pressing my own weight. Could I hold my grown if faced with an altercation... um, it'd really depend on the senerio and situation. I'm one to avoid physical violence though.
I don't know. I work with guys only doing construction, yard work, etc, so I feel not very strong a lot, but when I am with girls, I feel strong. It depends on who I am around. Lol
@WowwGirl depends on confidence levels. I would stand my ground and face whatever comes up especially if my integrity is at stake. Whatever the opposing force, even with real danger comes a responsibility to stand your ground and protect your own territory.
I used to be a physically toughass mf, miss those good old days
I first stepped into a karate dojo 43 years ago. I've worked out with, hung out with and known some of the best fighters on the planet. Olympic medalists, MMA champions, MMA coaches, people with titles such as Sheehan, Master, Sensai and Teacher. I am not the best hand to hand fighter, but I can certainly hold my own. I haven't stepped into a competitive ring for 35 years, and haven't been in a fight in nearly 10 though I imagine that I'm still fairly capable of basic self defense.
Yes.
I am a former soldier, a long-time student of Shotokan karate and have a private security business, for which I still work in the field.
When punks, thugs and sundry sociopathic scumbags decide to cause a problem, it does not end well for them.
