How can I convince my parents to take me to get a x-ray?

My left leg have been stiff and painful since a few days but my parents don't believe me and I am very anxious about it to the point where I have become what they call a hypohondriac. My parents think I'm faking it because "I don't wanna study " but it's not it. And I'm very anxious I can't do anything even my hobbies. How to convince them that I need to take xray

Get it checked out by your primary care physician first of all before requesting an X-ray. Your parents should not object to you wanting to see your primary doctor. They can refer you to an X-ray specialist if they examine you and see a reason to get a scan.

they may well be right but whats alarming to me is that at your age you can't just go to a doctor yourself... what the hell sort of system do you have where you live? here you would just ring up and make an appointment

Yeah perhaps you should broaden your horizon and understand that the place where you're staying isn't the only place on the planet and the ones with whom you mingle with aren't the only human beings alive.

dont know where you are getting that from... it was a simple question to you. im well aware that other countries dont have public health systems but strangely its normally people like you that defend that

what i was trying to say was its a sad state of affairs where your choice is either another row with your parents or somehow find some money from somewhere to go on your own... im not smug in any way about living in a country that has a national health service. i just think its a basic human right in this modern world.

Yeah I see. I'm still a student and I don't have money or I may have to steal from my parents but it's not at all good to steal and infact xrays are expensive. Thanks for your reply
