I'm 5'6" and weigh 150 pounds. According to the bmi chart, I am "overweight" as I should weigh around 130-140.
I can run 3-5 miles, kickbox, and still do cartwheels, yet I am considered overweight. That is why you cannot always go by a number on a scale.
I don't look overweight. I actually look much smaller due to my height, and I do weight training, so I have muscle and my weight is distributed evenly.
Yet I have a coworker that is 5'2 or 5'3" and 150lbs - she is overweight as well. However, she has no muscle, just fat and her height makes it more noticeable. That's the difference.02 Reply- +1 y
I am 5’5. I don’t do any crazy workouts, I just don’t have a car so I bike and walk everywhere I go. I am a pear shape and have a lot of muscle in my legs. I’d say I’m more muscle than fat.

You sound fine to me. Especially if you're relatively active! You can be "overweight" yet still fit and healthy.
I use the word overweight VERY loosely because even though the scale might consider us a certain way, doesn't mean we are.

+1 yIt's according to your build and your height. If you're very muscular, then that weight might fit your build. It also would mean your BMI might register 'obese" when you aren't according to your underwater weight.

+1 yThats a relative question, who you asking? While one guy might say your fat, another will say your thick, while another will say your perfect, and another won't even look at you because you ain't big enough.
If you dont like your body, then make changes. If you are comfortable, then be confident in yourself and that alone will raise your attractiveness to new levels.
Your opinion of yourself will vary with whatever guy you are interested in. If he has been dating skinny girls then you'll feel fat. Stop. Maybe a thick girl never gave him something to think about.

I actually don’t consider myself fat. It’s more just issues with how other people describe me. Like because I have wide hips and the way my lower body is I am considered plus size, but because I have a flat stomach and small upper body lots of people call me skinny or curvy, but then I’ll go the doctors office and they’ll tell me that I’m overweight.

Well, if you are talking about how other women describe you, careful. a lot of women live their entire life threatened by other women. As a result, they tend to try and make other women look less appealing... even women who are friends. Most are passive aggressive about it and often goes unnoticed but that underlining tone is there.
I caution against this because you will never be able to unread the comments but... if you are looking for a general opinion, post a body pic of you in form fitting or minimal clothing (no face). Post it in public forum that allows you to do so and allows people to comment. Pick somewhere that you do not know anyone.
It still won't be completely reliable because of trolls but if you need it...
If you garner plenty of attention from men and can walking passed a mirror nude without cringing... then do you. The worst thing you can do is look for reassurance on the internet. 🤣🤣🤣 people are animals

That's not big. If you consider displacement. I've found that it's really unlikely that a girl weighs below 9 stone, even if they are quite short <5'1. Even at 150lb, most women can carry it quite neatly, that, is maintaining a figure that society deems as 'attractive'. If you've got muscle mass, it's really nothing, because muscle weighs more than fat, so women with strong legs, or booties as a result of squats, are easily going to push 150lb. I've had a partner who weighed somewhere in the region of 250lb, and she was as shapely as anything, but, she was also 5'9 and generously proportioned. I'd say she was a big girl, as she very much was. 150lb is not big unless you're looking at it from the slightly insane point of view that women should all be <100lbs

It's hard to say based on weight alone for women. There are girls twice my size that still weigh a lot less than me, I'm a little fat at 230lbs 40" waist) girls seem to get bigger without weighing much.
That being said I looked through your questions till I saw your "how I dress" post and I dont thinkn you look that fat at all, so if that's what you look like at 150lb then I think you look fine.01 Reply- +1 y

You aren’t fat at all!!! I actually know a girl who weighs around the same as you and she is absolutely perfect the way she is!! There is nothing wrong with having a bit of muscle or fat since everyone has it and it’s nothing to be ashamed about either!!
00 ReplyNo it is not. It is not skinny either. I've dated a lot of women and id say it falls in the "curvy" territory. Not model looking. Slightly chubby but in a big breasted sexy way. Still looks good in a bakini. All of this is based on the average height of 5ft 5 inches. If you have zero boobs and are flat chested then id say it is getting closer to big. Big id say is 170 or higher.

+1 yUsually depends on age, ethnicity, height, etc. Different people carry weight differently. A 5'4" 150lbs white chick, excluding an athlete, is usually fat. On the other hand on a black chick the weight is in completely different places and she's usually thicc.
