Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Do you really think the Government will give up their excuse to take more power and infringe on our rights? If they could do it with a flu, the bar will be dropped even further.
The vaccines we currently have are junk, and will definitely not impede these unstoppable killing machines (aka variants). And these unstoppable killing machines will kill children, babies and animals!
So our only chance of survival will be to quarantine in hazmat suits and 15 masks.
Like a lot of things this vaccine is The UNKNOWN & I guess we will have to see what happens & most of all hope for the best & all I can say is I hope they got it right.
chances are the pandemic will end, but the government won't tell us, and will continue the same narrative until the end of the decade or beyond, the New World Order is here, Totalitarianism is part of the "new normal"
It will put an end to the closing of businesses. But some of the pandemic things will likely be permanent. We're probably gonna have to keep wearing masks for several years.
@NatalieKeller95 The pandemy will end in the western world before this year is over. The virus is not going to disappear, but deaths and hospitalizations will be at reasonably low levels. Only one large scale randomized study of madks in every day use has ever been made, and it shows little to no benefits of masks. All other studies are not randomized or not studied in everyday situations, hence not applicable. There is only political readons for wearing masks.
The vaccine doesn’t mean you’re immune to the virus. It’s just a preventative measure to make sure it doesn’t kill you. The virus will always be around. It’s just a matter of how people take care of themselves to prevent it from spreading.
NO, this is a Virus and it will continue to be spread; probably not as bad as we have seen it, but it will still be there and mutate just like the regular Flu that goes around every year.
I think we'll be forced to get the COVID shot every year and continue to wear the mask. I don't believe the vaccination will end the pandemic though it would be great if it destroy it. Like if there was a vaccine that prevented you from getting sick.
What happens with every other virus? Ever? It mutates. One day we might be able to add it to the next generation booster shot. But it's not going anywhere... even the vaccine only lasts 3 months to a MAX of one year...
Or enough people get vaccinated to cause an even worse mutation. We got lucky with smallpox and caught it in time. Eventually we should beluild some sort of defense in our genetics. Like we always have
I meant in a general term of extinction like the media is panning covid-19 to be. You only validated my point. It will take a while for the vaccine to be TURLY effective, and I'm not taking about bulkshit trials where allllllll biotechnology, including Pfizer tests people and says "no one died from our vaccine!!, but also no body died in the placebo trials!!"
lol covid probably isn't even the big one, it's probably a prelude to the big one, also the extinction of mankind would be swift and quick not drawn out
Not exactly it was only meant to try and protect people from the virus or those who has been infected, meaning there has not been an exact way to prevent the virus just the u. s health society ploting a way to prevent the spread of the virus
Definitely not not only that but businesses are going to be highly effected also which is not looking good!

No definitely not. the virus is ever changing like the flu so unless they develop a new shot every year like they do with the flu shot then maybe it'll control it a little bit.

eventually yes, like a lot of virus the vaccine with be worked on and they will get stronger, in the UK the tide is already turning in our favour
There's an excuse to kill people, you either let them die with the virus or you let them die with the vaccine. The objectives are the SAME!!
I sure hope the nice weather and vaccines will end it out here in the states 😅
HELL NO!

Not end it completely, but it will definitely slow it down a lot.

so this pandemic will never end then?
Ridiculous. We will never totally get rid of corona, but masks are not going to be of any interest. They’re not all that efficient to begin with.
@Taylor_C yeah but is it going to be a pandemic til 2030 and beyond?

Lol, no we won’t be wearing masks for several years.

A friend suggested herd immunity will end the lockdowns like the common cold which almost everybody gets but almost nobody dies from.
NO, this is a Virus and it will continue to be spread; probably not as bad as we have seen it, but it will still be there and mutate just like the regular Flu that goes around every year.
and we'll be wearing masks forever and normal will never return?
Yes, it won't end the disease but it will make it safe to go back to a normal lifestyle meaning most restrictions will be lifted
I think we'll be forced to get the COVID shot every year and continue to wear the mask. I don't believe the vaccination will end the pandemic though it would be great if it destroy it. Like if there was a vaccine that prevented you from getting sick.
Yes it will take it out of the news as will herd immunity.
What happens with every other virus? Ever? It mutates. One day we might be able to add it to the next generation booster shot. But it's not going anywhere... even the vaccine only lasts 3 months to a MAX of one year...
Enough people vaccinated means it can't spread
the virus will be with us for eternity likely, but as a pandemic though?
Or enough people get vaccinated to cause an even worse mutation. We got lucky with smallpox and caught it in time. Eventually we should beluild some sort of defense in our genetics. Like we always have
You think we caught smallpox in time? Do you know how many generations we had to deal with it.
I meant in a general term of extinction like the media is panning covid-19 to be. You only validated my point. We didn't deal with smallpox in a reasonable time because we didn't how to vaccinate. The first widespread vaccine was for polio
lol covid probably isn't even the big one, it's probably a prelude to the big one, also the extinction of mankind would be swift and quick not drawn out
Never its a flu/cold virus that will mutate very frequently
Not exactly it was only meant to try and protect people from the virus or those who has been infected, meaning there has not been an exact way to prevent the virus just the u. s health society ploting a way to prevent the spread of the virus
