There are an number of free, on-line workouts for each shape, including "apples". Check out a couple of them. They should include core, hip and butt exercises (not just "glutes", and some shoulder and chest work. Add a high protein diet, reduce sweet treats, drop half of the salt and sugar you eat now, and in 4-6 months, you will ROCK!

Shoulders- You have shoulders that are a bit wider than average, in my opinion. Many swimmers have shoulders that are a bit wider than typical.
Shape- tubular/banana/cylindrical. Only banana is a commonly used shape of the three, but all would describe a physique with an average bust, a waist that is not nipped in severely, and relatively narrow hips. The opposite would be an extreme "hourglass" figure with a large bust, very narrow waist, and sizable hips and butt.
You really have no reason whatsoever to hate your body. You certainly look better than 2/3 of the women in our area. Please - try to not be so hard on yourself: we can be our own worst enemy. The shoulder and chest exercises will help shape up your arms, bust and shoulders. The core exercises will help fill out and round your hips and butt. The dietary changes should start about a month after you start the exercises. Those changes will help drop a bit of weight and act in synergy with the core exercises to slim your tummy a size or two, and firm up the remainder. As another benefit, your hips will become a more stable platform for your walking, running, and even sitting. Good luck.

First of all, it does not look like an apple! If anything, it looks like a reverse triangle. You need to work out, get on a healthy diet and all will be good. I used to be overweight but I was able to shed some pounds By myself in the comfort of my home. So will you!

You're definitely not an apple shape. I call it ordinarily sexy. I think you look pretty good.
If you want to tighten up your stomach muscles you can do planks, sit ups and crunches.
