Yes I got candy, but I also got stickers as well! I loved going to the dentist because my Aunt was/is the office manager there and as a kid I used to get a bunch of pencils, stickers, posters, toothbrushes, etc. As far as candy from the doctor, I usually got more stickers than candy, but I liked when I would get a sticker after they drew my blood.

Lol yeah I did and I forget which doc I went to but there was one doc she give me the stickers when u scratch them they start to smell good I used to love those when I was a kid I'm not lying 😂😂😂😂😂

There was a Jar with little stuff, like small toys or tiny pens and all that and I was always really excited for that and since I had to go to the doctor every few months, I did get a lot but still hated the doctor and the treatments

Yep I used to get candies. But the thing which surprised me the most is there was a bowl of candies at the dentist's cabin where my sister goes as she doesn't take care of her teeth.

I think so, but I can't honestly say for sure. And maybe the first couple times, she politely chuckled, but now that I'm 40, I don't think my doctor thinks it's funny anymore when I ask where my lollipop is.

I think when me and my sister was sick we had 2 old time doctors
and I believe they gave lollipops.. Dr. Hughes was in town and
Dr. Rongaus was in Donora he delivered us back in 68-69 but
we usually went there with Tonsillitis and he gave us the
a liquid antibiotic was a banana flavor and we would get
better but them doctors are long gone

one time, I was four or five years old... I don't even remember what was it for, but I had to go to the doctors office and get a daily injection for a week or whatever... so I got my shot, a kiss from the nurse (yuck) and then some candy (yuckier)

It was a long time ago and I have to remember. Yes, there was usually a bowl of lollipops (suckers) on the checkout desk. I usually got to pick one... sometimes two if I was really good with the doctor and nurse, like when I got a shot.

I think once.  My principle on that now though is it's daft to give kids sweets at a dentist highly counter productive, why not give me soda while we are at it lol.
