Yes every year. I only get the neighborhood kids and they all know me because I either fix your flat tire on their bike or put air in their tire so it's kind of cool to watch them grow up each year so I'm talking maybe between 15 and 20 kids every year that's it last year I gave away 6x 8 kit Kat bars they were the biggest kick at bars I've ever seen in my life they loved it

Our department takes firetrucks and an engine to different neighborhoods, and usually 1 is parked in my subdivision.
my wife also hands out candy, it's fun, the kids love it.
Parents have to remember when they go with the kids to bring a shot glass for thier treat.

I used to go out and try and make friends or date on Halloween but then I gave up and stayed home and handed out candy but I no longer enjoy Halloween like I used to and now I am just sitting by myself with my lights off so no one comes to my door.

Yes I do both at the place I manage and again at home. Home is in a remote area where trick or treaters usually are driven in so while I'm passing out the candy my daughter is driving the boys around to collect their goods. Usually a fun evening.

If Halloween is on a Sunday - Wednesday night I do. If it's Thursday, Friday, or Saturday then I'll leave out a bowl since I'm probably at a Halloween party or themed event.
