I'm NOT trying to lose weight -- I'm trying to lose acne. I've tried everything to get rid of it, & not eating healthy is the only thing left & will probably solve the problem.

Speaking of hamburgers, here's a good ol' Polish recipe for a relatively healthy hamburger:
2 lbs ground beef
2 large onions
2 garlic cloves
Salt (Can be replaced with other spices if you want to lower sodium intake) and Pepper
1 large carrot (cooked and mashed)
1 egg
1/4 cup water
1 cup bread crumbs
5 tbsp oil for frying (or, you can grill it if you want a healthier alternative)
Cook onions until soft and add garlic. Cook until garlic smell released (takes about 1 minute or so). Do not burn.
Mix onion and garlic into beef with salt, pepper, carrot, egg, water and mix well.
If meat mixture too runny, add some bread crumbs to thicken the mixture.
Shape into oval patties, cover with a light layer of bread crumbs and fry in 4 tbsp of oil on each side until brown.
Then turn down heat and cook until done in middle.
Traditionally, this is eaten with mashed potatoes and a sour-cream & cucumber salad.
1 boneless skinless chicken breast
whole grain brown rice
salsa
cilantro & lime seasoning
lowfat/fat free shredded mozzarella cheese
baby spinach leaves
tomato
reduced fat sour cream
hot sauce
whole grain tortilla
corn
season chicken with cilantro & rice and coat it with a light layer of hot sauce. baked it until cooked.
cook rice.
cut chicken up into small chunks, mix with 1/4 cup of brown rice, adding in a little bit more of the seasoning. add salsa. cut vegetables into small pieces and mix with rice/chicken in a bowl with cheese. scoop two ice cream scoop sized scoops of the chicken/rice/vegetable/salsa mix into the tortilla. add sour cream. wrap. tasty lowfat burrito.

salads can be really tasty depending on what you put on it. ditch the crappy iceberg lettuce and go for romaine and other leafy green varieties. I love to make a meal out of my salads. we probably like different things but I love to add tomatoes, red onions, green peppers, mushrooms, olives, croutons, a little cheese, and blue cheese dressing or caesar
try to enrich your diet with more vegetables and fruits. like pizza? get a garden fresh or veggie pizza and only add 1 type of meat and don't have extra cheese
drink lots of water to flush your body out
i like to make baked BBQ chicken and sautee some onions and bell peppers
make a wrap
lettice, cheese, onion, carrots, diced chicken on a wrap with the dressing of your choice

I got my juicer for a grand total of about $21, and although cleaning it is a pain, it's pretty cool.

A lot of people find that their acne is due to a slight dairy intolerance. Did you try just lessening the amount of dairy that you ingest?
