I tried recently. Then i gt covid and cheeseburgers have been amazing to me. My health is deteriorsting due to diarrhea but cheeseburgers make me feel healthier.
I'm not a vegan but I do limit my meat intake quite a bit because I was vegan for a few years and for the last years I was missing out on important nutrition plus it was super expensive
I dont like Keto as well I know it works for ones not for everyone but also Keto in the long run is not good you can get liver problems in future years is a possibility. Why dont eat all foods in moderation, all foods groups are important to the body if you eat balanced and in moderation it won't hurt you.
Actually it's good for people with certain diseases and depression. There's a good keto and a bad keto or dirty keto. I had a fatty liver on a standard diet but no longer. Not everyone is gonna eat remotely the same on these diets. Lot of old world thinking on what is healthy is wrong. Grains can go take a hike lol
Tell that to a nutritionist that grains are bad and they will tell you otherwise. I mean all diets do nto work, what it wokrs is to eat balanced not for a period of time but for all your life, by eating all food groups and not stick to a diet, the word diet is what is wrong the word should be eat balanced and that is all
Depends on the nutritionist. Unless I'm laying bricks or doing cross country grains aren't doing me any good. I just get hungry again an hour or two later. I could easily eat 1 lb of pasta and 1lb of beef in a sitting.
I mean grains have been in the diet of homosapiens for 10 k years. These grains are hybridized and a lot of things like oats, rice, wheat are being grown in toxic soil anyway. Even the organic stuff. 300k years of meat, veggies, nuts, and seeds saw us through all we needed. Grains became a staple because we could centralize a good source. But it wasn't like grains today. Much more hearty and nourishing. But then again people build everything by hand and burned up those carbs.
i think that long term, 100% vegan nutrition can't possibly be good for you. like not eating animal products for a few months isn't gonna be a big deal. but not eating them for 20 years will be.
Iron-deficiency anemia is caused by a lack of healthy red blood cells in the body. Red blood cells need iron and the iron you can only get it from eating meat and soem plants sources like red beans but most of the iron is from eating meat.
But a realtive of mi9ne works at a hospital and she told me that a friend of hers who is a MD told her that she had witnessed that many (not all of course) leukemia patients she had seen in some way it was developed due to iron defficiency which comes from eating animal protein mostly and she had seen that many vegans had developed leukemia in some way. I m mean vegan , not vegetarian which it is different, my point here is vegan.
I went vegan when i got sick and i find nothiing wrong with it once my stomach healed i barely eat vegan but i i had no issues and defenitley felt more healthier eating vegan
Evolution going backwards. If it was for eating meat, there wouldn't have been a Human race. Eating meat is nature's way of developing better brain cells.

What annoys me is food that's never contained meat is now being market as vegan. Vegan table salt anyone
They do that with everything. It will say gluten free etc. When the product has nothing to do with grains
I'm glad people find things that work for them. I'm Keto myself and glad I found something that works for me.

Its not dumb or dangerous, its a personal choice.
There are many resons eating less meat in general, or becoming vegan or veggietarian.
Personal choices don't have victims.

I think it's great and I wish I had the discipline to do it. Your cousin needs to get better medical information; anemia does NOT cause leukemia.
Some sort of anemia can cause Leukemia
Iron-deficiency anemia is caused by a lack of healthy red blood cells in the body. Red blood cells need iron and the iron you can only get it from eating meat and soem plants sources like red beans but most of the iron is from eating meat.
So what you just wrote has nothing to do with cancer.

Are you familiar with the term "hearsay"?
I believe the professional doctor and my cousin. Why would they lie to me when they told me the story?
Believe what you want.
I partake in the summer time but usually include meat in cooler months of the year.
I think eat whatever you want, just don’t bother me about it lol
Well now we're all bothered by someone's choice to eat bats and pangolins.
It was nature's way of getting us enough calories to support big brain which became a non-issue with the advent of farming.
I don’t need to think about it, vegans tell me about it whenever I meet one
Each to their own. Just don’t preach your shit to me. I eat meat and always will.
Both my vegetarian and pescatarian daughters dont preach what others should eat. They rather wish others would mind their own business.
I think its healthy I wish I could go vegan :) but sadly im weak when it comes to chicken hahaha
God Designed our Bodies for Meat and Put animals here for us to Eat. I am a Meat Eater, but I only eat meat once a day for dinner!
We all have our things. Don’t expect others to understand. I’m still surprised how many unvaxxed fckers i have to explain science to.
Completely goes against the food chain. I don't mind people being vegan if it means less demand for meat and meat being cheaper.
I have no issue with it, but I cannot get on board with it personally. I enjoy meat and dairy products way too much.
not a big fan anymore. i also don't think it hurts your health if you know what your doing
Not my cup of tea, I love beef and chicken. But to each their own
