So I have Covid, currently in the hospital. Been having weird delusions/hallucinations. One creepy one happened at home with a shadow feeling like it tried to cut my air off and choke me. At the hospital seen a snake lady speaking in a dead language. Then another felt like someone touching my chin and nobody there. My family told me not to tell the doctor because they could put me on psych meds to mess me up even more. I'm worried to tell the doctor now. My mind's just tired.

Tell the medical staff.
Are you in the ICU?
Nope
Ah, psychosis is a thing there that can happen. Unfortunately, my medical expertise is all through others so I won't begin to speculate beyond that. Definitely tell your doctors though. Even if they do put you on meds, they are meant to help you not hurt.
Yeah just got nervous whether I should say anything or not
Completely understand. Always tell your doctors/nurses whatever symptoms you are feeling so it can be charted. There may be a possibility you need more meds, different meds or to be taken off one.
@asker This is the way!
Any concerns you have should be relayed to your care team. Their job is to care for you, and it is your job to let them know how you are doing.
I was totally hoping you'd come in to comment. You are totally more qualified to comment on this than I am ๐
I was sneaking around lol. You had it handled just fine!
@SecretsofKB ok then, I don't want it to get worse
Are you feeling better?
High fever often causes strange dreams
Probably so
