no it’s mutated into a great virus… what i mean is viruses live in the host humans body and die if the person does so they want to be able to spread without killing their carriers. perfect viruses are like hpv, chicken pox etc. where it’s very contagious but not deadly for most human hosts. and this variant is highly super contagious but not deadly and doesn’t attack the Respiratory system like it used to

No. It is even less dangerous than the other variants that were no more dangerous than the annual flu.
So far there have been about 54,000 covid deaths in the USA. (900,000, but 94% of those were from other causes that were already killing them first). the regular flu has between 12,000 to 61,000 deaths EACH year in the previous 10 years before covid.
And there have been over 21,700 + deaths from the vaccines according to VAERS. With over 170,000 adverse effects to the vaccines.
My advice would be to just rest, take vitamin C each day, make sure to eat some normal food each day, and keep some Vick's Nyquil cough syrup nearby. I know it tastes gross, but it will open up your airway pretty quick.
ICU nurse here.
So from what we've been seeing, it is very, very transmissable, but isn't necessarily as serious as previous variants.
Now that being said, it is still dangerous and the fact that it is so transmissable means that many ERs and ICUs are full again. This leads to dangerous situations for patients that need care that only an ICU can provide. This can lead to more deaths that were preventable.
So please, do still take Omicron seriously.
Give it a week or two. Delayed deaths will be announced soon I’m sure

It's more infectious, but milder. Though how far it's long term organ damage goes is not known.
Best self isolate and keep the fluids up and notify your doctor. From what we're being told, omicron is more contagious but less serious (fewer complications, hospitalizations and deaths) than previous variants. It's still a dangerous virus though.
I tested positive too but so far it's mild symptoms
By all indications appears milder. Deaths are decreasing, along with ICU occupancy. At least in my province.
I also just had omicron. Was sick for a day, then felt more or less fine after. There is no "omnicron"
People just wanna keep this shit going for some reason.No. Omicron seems to spread easier, but it's far more mild than the original and Delta.
no one talks about H1N1 variants but they should
