It depends on what you can afford, and how you manage your finances really. But if you have a house with the space, not term its cheaper to buy your own treed mill and bench set. I only have paid for gym if it has a lap pool for swimming.
Seems like a pretty good investment to me if you go regularly unless you have a serious enough home gym to do all sorts of motions with fractional plates and so forth.
I can't seem to get motivated to go regularly
I think a home gym and also just calisthenics is beneficial that way. Doesn't require quite as much motivation doing it around or near the home without having to pack and drive to the gym.
No. Most gyms have very interesting courses for socializing with other people, like pilates or aerobic. It's not just lifting and walking around like a peacock what some guys do. However it depends on your time and motivation.
It depends on how often you go, really. If you don't think you'll be going regularly, I would say that it's a waste of money.

If it's enough to motivate you to go, then no.
You can also save on the water if you shower there, to take full advantage.
I have belonged to various gyms my whole life. I have improved my health and met some friends. It is only a waste of money if you don't use it.
I can exercise anywhere but since I paid my own utilities the gym membership more than pays for itself in air conditioning and hot water from showers
Only if you don't go or don't utilize it sufficiently.
£30 a month absolutely, I spent less on my current home gym
Okay of I had to buy it new I could replace it in a year of membership fees
For me? Yes. I won't go lol
But if you actually go... then it's worth it.
Depends on if you use it or not. If you use it, then it's not a waste. If you don't, then it is. Entirely depends on you.
Yes because they won’t let you push yourself beyond their rules
I think it's useful if you're going to actually go and workout
It would be for me because I'd never go. I'd sooner work out at home where I can't embarrass myself.
Depends, if you have a friend to go with, then yes; if not, then no.
I'd say yes but it's hard to replace the Dead-Lift
If you waste your time while in the gym yes.
Only if you don't use it.
If you go to the gym it isn't
Yes, I definitely think so.
No it’s a good idea
Depends
