Do you agree with my job coach that "going to the gym is a luxury, not a need"?

We were just having a talk about this and apparently my participation points will be decreased because I was going to head to the gym with a friend after volunteering at a thrift shop. Corporate considers therapy to be a much more essential excuse than gymgoing with a friend.

I don't agree with the values of the corporation I have been in for 3 years anymore. They have become even more strict, filled with BIG MASK-REQUIRING KARENS, individuals with disabilities are (more often than not) treated like babies for making a mistake, they think mistakes are intentional or otherwise worth repenting for.

I was not even aware of this "policy" thing until this job coach told me, and he actually has a "boss" and she was my job coach before until she got promoted to "lead". Things are getting progressively worse at this "employment service".

Because my participation counted as a half day rather than a full day, I don't get as much points. I have never had to deal with this strict struggle with OTHER job coaches over the last 3 years, "half day" or "full day". During COVID I would get $50 monthly, now just $20 monthly for my participation because of no COVID and I attend a few days a week.

I hate disability services, they are ableist and garbage. Not to mention I am autistic myself, very high functioning

I am going to say it as it is. . . As much as I hate to say the words "fat" and "lazy", it is NO SECRET that my service is FILLED with "fat" and "lazy" clients/participants. ESPECIALLY the guys. They all exactly look like no girl wants to date them. I am the only one that comes even close to this territory of average, let alone handsome. I was the first participant of the service to ever have attended a gym with a job coach.
