That's the way it hit me and my wife after Thanksgiving. I have had sinus problems since I was 11, so I thought I was just having my usual, semi-annual sniffles. Well, I did have the sniffles for three days. But on day four, it felt as though I was hit by a steam roller, also. My wife tested and came up negative. The next day, we both tested. The test, which can take up to 15 minutes to "develop", turned a vivid magenta within about two minutes, if that. Her second test came up as a weak pink after the full 15 minutes.
Yup. That's how my test was. The purple line popped up almost instantly for me. And nothing came up for my mom.
February 2020. I could barely breathe. I felt like I could get no oxygen, like I was dying. I had a never-ending cough. I had a never-ending headache and my joints felt sore I also had a bit of fever. It was not a common cold.
It was probably covid, I was probably one of the few first cases here.
Maybe that is how I contacted it. There weren't many tests here back then and they were not available to the public, it was the starting point. But after it, I dont think I ever got it again.
It lasted around a month or so but the low fever lasted for more than 1 year and it was an ongoing thing.
I hope that it's better now. I also am pretty sure that I had it December 2019. I felt exactly like I do now. And a few months later covid became a thing.
About two days ago, I have a cold. Fatigue, raspy throat, and feeling hot. But nothing in comparison to what you have of course. How did you get it, from the 15 people you were around? That is why I do not congregate with any more than 3 people, it just isn't safe yet.
Where did I say I was around any of those 15 people? I just said that I knew that they had it. I'm pretty sure I got it from work.
It was Christmas 2019, the week we were breaking up from work. Me and my work colleague went down with something. I havenāt a clue what it was, and still to this day Iāve known idea what I caught. But I can remember, I felt absolutely awful, like Iād been bum raped by an elephant. What ever it was, I never want it again.
Hope you feel better soon.
It was probably covid. I was sick AF December 2019 and the hospital said I had influenza B. I'm pretty sure it was covid because I feel now how i felt then.

Hope you feel better soon :) .
Actually been a long time since I was sick, last 10 years I barely been sick any at all, but before that I was sick all the time, very much so as a kid, had a very weak immune system.
Barely been any covid in my area, but few days ago my older sister and her kids got covid
Thank you. Wishing a speedy recovery to your sister and her family
I was feeling not so good and had a nosebleed, I sure hope you feel better that Covid is bad I just wish that the Government and President would do some investigating on why is this happening to all these people, me and my cousin live in Section 8 housing and went for about 3-4 weeks with no furnace and just electric heaters it was horrible and we wore long sweatpants, socks, blankets so I signed up for LiHEAP and they came through for us... I wish you get well soon (( Hugs ))
Thank you
@ShaTTeredMasterpeace You are welcome :)
Over new years, about 10 of us at the firehouse were sick.
we tested positive, it didn't matter vaxed, un vaxed, boosted, not boosted, and for 1 guy it was his 4 time being tested positive.
It kicked his ass, and he is younger.
It wasn't too bad for me, a slight fever, but I was tired, I slept a lot.
I still have a non-productive cough once in a while.
Yeah it's currently kicking my ass
One and a half years ago, I had extreme bone pain on my left thigh, one of my relative had bone cancer and died of it, and I was 100% sure that i had it too which sent me into extreme anxiety and I ended up getting an x ray and I was fine, and the pain subsided after around 2 weeks of the x ray. I don't know the cause of the pain though.
I'm glad you were ok. My anxiety automatically goes haywire any time I feel a pain lol.
Yeah I even lost my weight because of anxiety, I remember how my cousin suffered wjth that disease, it was horrible. He went from a healthy 21 year old man to a 21 year old who can't even walk, he was on painkillers and sleeping the whole time. The pain was terrible. I wouldn't wish that even on my worst enemies.
I'm so sorry
I had covid early January. Sore throat for a few days, then extreme fatigue and felt terrible for two days, then recovery. Oh and we can't forget the night chills and sweating out a pint of water.
Ceylon cinnamon capsules 3 times a day helped, as well as iron and echinacea and goldenseal. Hot tea too.
The night chills are the worst. My body feels hot and it literally feels like I'm breathing fire but I'm shivering.
Definitely take your painkillers/fever reducers right before bed. That's what I did.
Thanks ā¤ļø
Are you vaccinated? Just asking, not looking for dramaā¦. lol. I hope you get over it soon. I am vaccinated and I have had it twice. If I were close by I would cook for you. But I would have to leave it outside for you to come getā¦. ;). I donāt want it a third time. lol
I'm vaccinated with the 1st 2 doses
I ate too fast and nearly threw up yesterday but thats the closest I have been to any sort of sick in a while.
Also, covid and the broken water pipe? Geeze you are not having a great week. Hope you feel better soon.
It's been an amazing week huh? Lol smh. Thanks ā¤ļø
January, I got tested positive for covid. It was terrible 😭
Yeah it sucks. Hope you're feeling better.
Got sick 2 days after Christmas and then tested positive for covid during new years. It sucked, especially being home from work for a couple weeks, but I got through it and honestly at first it felt like the flu the first 3-4 days then after a week later it felt like a head cold.
Like a week ago or some i guess... i had flu n fever etc
I hope this time passes quick for u n u be super fine n good n active again n do all same stuff again very soon 🤗
Thanks
In October and half of November. I was cured of Covid-19 in the middle of November and ever since I haven't caught even a cold, which is weird considering my immune system is pretty weak and usually I'm sick at the current time of the year.
Glad you got better
Get well soon. I had it 3 moths back, it wasn't that bad but lasted 10 days.
Thank you
For the past few days. Temp spiked at 102.5 but has returned to my normal range.
Feel well soon
Vaccine d?
Last time was covid and was bad.
I got first 2 doses of the vaccine. Not getting anymore
Just getting over it myself. Still feel completely wrecked mentally and spent physically.
Hoping you get well soon
Thanks. You too.
I had covid in May, it sucked. Every time my i moved I felt like my head was going to explode like that scene from scanners.
Yeahhh the headache sucks
Well, join the crowd, sweetheart! It takes weeks to get over it, and the cough lasted for just about a month. I have not been sick prior to this for many moons.
As an addendum to my first answer, I noticed that you got sick AFTER your first shot, and I have heard the same from several persons. From what I understand, what I got was Omicron, which is yet another variation of the original COVID 19 virus.
I am not vaccinated, NOT ANTIVAC, I just hate shots. Friends are fully vaccinated, and they still got it. The symptoms I had were severe, and I considered going to the hospital, but did not.
I don't understand HOW I got it, as I always 'mask up", avoid close contact, crowds, bars et cetera. Can't imagine how I contracted it, as I took all precautions as I have for the last 2+ years of this nightmare. I don't think we are being told all about how this virus is being transmitted from person to person.
I was sick for 3 weeks after getting the vaccine. Hadnāt been sick in 3 years.
I got sick after my second shot
Got omicron a month ago. Was sick for 2 days, was unvaccinated too
Glad you're better.
Last time I felt sick was when I witnessed a feminist rally and all the āfeministsā looked like trash. All had short hair, colored , was totally a shit show and just knocked them a few steps backwards by the way the yelled and screamed and represented themselves, Total trash. I really felt physically sick at the thought of a chick TRYING to be so manly. Some actually made it a point to have body odor. WTH!
Right now, right freaking now, it's annoying although I had a good start to the day
Get well soon
Thank you so much that's so sweet šš»
You're welcome
get well soon!
also to answer ur question, 2 months ago
Thanks ā¤ļø
Physically sick, last year. Emotionally, like two weeks ago.
When I got vaccinated, I rarely get sick otherwise. This winter was relatively mild and I stayed inside a lot ^^
I only know one person who has gotten covid. He was only under the weather for about a day & 1/2. About 36 hrs. As for myself I haven't been sick for ages now. Nothing more then a little bit of a cold in the last 2-3 years.
Yeah I've felt like shit all week
Thank you
Most of the last 4 months. So brings all kinds of little bugs home from nursery so have felt fluey for months (tested for covid regularly, never had positive result)
Sorry about that but I also pray that you get well soon as possible.
It has been long ever since I felt sick years back @ShaTTeredMasterpeace
Thank you!
You are welcome @ShaTTeredMasterpeace āŗ
I was very sick the December before covid. Nothing since then.
Same. I had cocid December 2019 and they told me it was influenza B
Are you vaxed? Itās supposed to blunt Covid. Even help get over it.
First 2 shots. But I'm also immunocompromised
Last time I looked through all the fake ass pictures in the how do I look topic 😏
Last time I felt sick was the last time I watched the news in vomit vision
Last December. I was sent to the hospital because of pneumonia
Yikes
Went to the ER for sciatic pain and came out with a cold back in December.
Yikes
About a month ago, but it was my allergies acting up.
Aww im sorry dear.
last time for me was when i got my booster. Felt fatigued. Luckily it only lasted a day though
I had a bad headache a couple months ago ended up staying home from school but was in bed all day.
Get well soon!!! I just got over covid lol.
Thank you
I know everyone says thoughts and prayers etc.
I mean it
COVID-19 almost killed me. I really hope you have a fast recovery and no lingering long-covid symptoms
Sometime last fall when I had a mild short-lasting cold
Literally today. Nearly barfed at work
Hope you feel better
Since all this bulkdhyt started I've been eating garlic cloves almost every day, vitamin c, d and zinc. I've never felt better.
Right now. This innocous question nearly made me hurl
Two weeks ago when I had COVID.
You're better now huh?
Yeah that's what I'm hearing from a lot of people
Look at the bright side, you can masturbate like a beast for the next week.
Lol I don't have the energy or desire to masturbate
Really? Who don't have the desire to rub one out?
Last week when i got food poisoning from hamburger meat.
Ugh. I'm sure that was a blast
Ugh, it was horrible
Over a year ago, when my nephew got me sick.
Got covid, didn't affect me but I wish it had.
No you don't. It sucks
Hope you make a speedy recovery. If I could take covid away from you I would.
Thank you
The day after I got my second shot.
Yeah this is exactly how I felt after my second shot
Back in December, I was isolated too.
