I was 6 when I was jumping up and down in the shower (ill advised) and I landed tooth first on the faucet. The tooth died and had to be pulled
The first natural tooth I lost, we were playing the game “heads up 7up” in first grade. A classmate put my thumb down, I put my head up and my tooth fell out! The teacher sent it home in a plastic baggie.
My oldest son lost his first tooth when he was 6 on kindergarten science fair day. During science fair I noted that his front tooth was pointing backward. By the time he got home, it was facing the wrong direction! At that point I took a napkin and, against his initial desires, yanked that tooth out!
My younger son is now 6 years old and losing teeth is a big deal! He keeps taking about “loose teeth” every nigh, but they all seem the same to me. LOL.
I think I was six. It was loose and kept wiggling. I would wiggle it with my tongue. One day in my first grade class (Mrs. Griffin's) it just kinda rolled out. I remember feeling a bit self satisfied. I just blurted out during a lecture, "My tooth came out!"
It kinda bled pretty freely. I wondered why it was painless, since I associated bleeding with pain.
My mother was a lazy tooth fairy. I made it abundantly clear I lost my tooth. I made it abundantly clear I put it under my pillow. And when I awoke the next morning, the tooth was still there and there was no money! I complained and my mother said "Let's check again!" She put her hands under the pillow and confessed she didn't feel anything. She made me try again and there were two quarters (which could buy a hostess apple turnover back then). She always did this with each tooth. Thus I was quickly disillusioned of the literal existence of a tooth fairy.
Amongst my students today, missing teeth fetch enormous sums for a child. I had students claim the exchange rate is as high as $20 a tooth! Some of my Asian students have been jealous because that's not a tradition in Japan or Korea! They just throw them on the roof.
I can't remember exactly how old, but I had a wiggly tooth that was giving me some amount of pain.
My dad told me what they use to do years ago, and that was to tie a bit of string to the tooth and the other side to the door, then wait for someone to open or close it depending on which way it was facing. I tried doing it myself to be clever and pulled the wrong tooth. My Mum took me to the dentist the next morning who took the right one out. Luckily they were only my milk teeth.

I was 5 years old. I saw kids running toward my direction so I automatically ran as if I was being chased by them, I got scared.. I kept looking back at them to see if they were catching up and when I turned back to face forward as I was still running with all my strength I see a car before me BAM! 💥!! I hit the car! it threw me back. I fell.
I just remember I got up and went running toward the house door crying and blood spilling from my mouth.

My parents rushed me to a dentist or hospital I don't remember but they said it broke off my bone... they pushed my tooth back in and glued it somehow which I see now was a mistake.
not all doctors know what they are really doing.
they should have removed it, not glue it back and another tooth grew behind it.. they ruined my mouth
I have since then tried to correct it but I still lost bone and my face developed differently from that side.
people don't really notice but when I say it then they start to see... like oh yeah I see it now..
I don't even remember but my kids lose teeth left and right around here. Tooth fairy is always on high alert. She was here just last week! And with my oldest son he lost his first tooth and swallowed it. We had to put a fake tooth under the pillow lol
@matchrestore haha the tooth fairy sometimes has to go to extremes for find money around here like digging through the car for change and yes borrowing money from piggy banks
I was around 5 or 6, I bit into an apple and felt the worst pain I’d ever felt up to that point in my young life. My mom was right there and ran to see why I just screamed, and my right front tooth was sticking straight out, like 90 degrees from where it was prior to biting into the apple! The thing was it wasn’t loose before that, and mom looked at it for a minute or two, must have weighed the hassle of getting a dentist to try to fix it (as we were still in England at the time) and then just gave it a quick tug, and out it came. The suck part was going over a year and a half with no front tooth!
I think it was in first grade, I was six. What I really remember was that shiny quarter in the special tooth fairy pouch which hung from my door knob. You put the tooth in the pouch and magically by the time you woke up the next morning it was gone and the quarter had taken its spot!
I was 7. I wiggled it out at home. My mom was a dental hygienist so loosing a tooth was always a big deal. She still has all of my baby teeth somewhere at home.
Five, I think. I thought that I broke it, so I was afraid to mention that it was wobbly. When I woke up and it was gone, I screamed and had to explain why. My mother laughed so much. She found it in the sheets and explained that it was worth money. After that, I was always pushing at them with my tongue.
I really do not remember it was so long ago. Whem my mother died I went through her jewelry box and lo and behold all my baby teeth were in there so I actually have them in a little jar. This goes well with the 4 wisdom teeth I had pulled out years ago. I remember every grunt from the dentist as he yanked them out. As had was pulling I hear him say "Oh Shit" . The tooth broke while he was pulling it so he had to tap a screw into each of the broken pieces and pull them out by the screw head.
First baby tooth around 6. Around 12 I crashed into the back of a car while riding by bike and not paying attention. I lost most of a front tooth and had to live with it that way until the dentist said it had stopped growing around 17 and could be crowned.
I was either 5 or 6 and I freaked out because I didn’t know you were supposed to lose teeth and I thought I was dying. But then I got paid for my trouble by the tooth fairy, which should’ve been less believable than Santa because the tooth fairy just flies in without a chimney.
My memory is not as exact as yours. I think I was 5 when one of my front teeth got loose and I wiggled it out with my tongue. I do remember the Tooth Fairy leaving me a quarter (25 cents) when I put it under the pillow.
I was 3, my brother tripped me and I slid face first into the base of a rocking chair and lost my two front teeth. I was teased with the song All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth for a few years.
7 as far as I remember. My mother had a tiny pillow with a little pocket embedded and after putting the tooth in, I awoke the next morning astounded at 5 dollars of cash rewarded!
