Will this go away?

So I'm taking new medication for anxiety it's Hydroxzine. It's for anxiety, also an antihistamine. I took it today and passed out for basically the whole day. Will this go away with time? Is it because I'm getting used to the medication? It's late at night and I can't call the doctor. I'm gonna call Monday, I'm just wondering if any of you experienced this while taking it?

This is a serious side effect that you have experienced and I would not take that medication anymore until you have cleared the problem with your physician.

Since this medication can only be obtain by prescription, your doctor should have informed you about the possible side effects you may experience. If you fainted or passed out because you took the medication, either you did not inform him correctly about your health condition or you possibly took the wrong dosage.

I am not a medically trained person but based on your account, refrain from taking that medication and if you don't feel well, don't wait till Monday to consult your doctor but go to the emergencies right away.

That sounds like a pretty extreme reaction. Can you call a pharmacist? A lot of pharmacies are open on weekends. You can also try googling the side effects of that particular drug.

It said drowsiness is a side effect. I will call tomorrow never thought about calling the pharmacy. Thank you!

Medications are designed to prevent you from ascending and to keep you docile and weak. There are exceptions. Our body uses minerals and food, not petrochemicals. When we suffer from anxiety our body uses up a lot of magnesium. Addressing magnesium deficiency, as opposed to drugs made for profit and control might be something to consider.

Well your anxiety was gone 😂 Here is the simple truth everyone reacts different to each medication. I would message/call your doctor especially if it gets worse or you have any breathing or heart problems. Do not stop taking it either. they have others you can try.

Yea it certainly will. Most anti-anxiety medications are all downers. Try as you have been told million times something anything relaxing. listen to music walk take a long hot bath. Movies are my out! Getting lost in a good movie is my escape!

Did you eat after taking your medication?
Tell your doctor that it made you pass out. That is not normal.

I did. But I'm supposed to take 3 tabs a day.

How long ago did you start taking this medicine? Is this the first time?
