I think I agree with the anonymous guy suggesting no thoughts. I struggle with anxiety too, and while it doesn't solve my problems, I think it helps me when I actively try not to think about consequences or any following steps that comes after what I need to start doing.
Similarly, I just try to distract myself as much as I can, and squeeze in anything I know will affect my mental health positively whenever I can, like getting out - even if only a little, getting enough sleep, eating a bit healthier when I can muster it, talking to people.
Ofc, I still have huge issues that no doctor so far as been able to help me with, and I'm basically a hermit. So, take what I say with a grain of salt ^^

I learned how to have absolutely no thoughts and it changed my life. I learned it from the book 'The Power of Now' by Ekhart Tolle. Most people think compulsive thought is normal, but it isn't.
Ashwagandha, regular exercise, and improving my diet by reducing fat and carbs.
