@Screenwriter I go to the gym 3-4 times a week ( not bad for a 45 year old!!) and I see these young THOTS all over!! 3 lbs of makeup and wearing ass-tight booty shorts in a gym full of horny college aged guys. Of course she wants attention - it is her currency.
If a women wants attention she can get it - and it is not necessarily a bad thing. At the end of the day it is - for the most part - no harm done.
@Texaskid1 Well said! You know what's funny? Is that often when a guy there pretends they aren't there (So basically not paying them any attention), they try to get his attention by hoovering around him, walk infront of him unnecessarily, doing their workouts near or even in front of him. Just to provoke catching him looking at them.
I've seen it and experienced it many times myself throughout the years I've been hitting the gym. I was recently with my girlfriend and there was this chick constantly hoovering me. You can tell she is the type who gets more than enough validation from the world. But I didn't. I only gave my girlfriend attention. My girlfriend later told me she was getting dirty looks from this girl and that she was regularly looking my way rather than doing her own workouts.
@TruthBringer TB, I'm shocked that these women are vacuuming around you while you're trying to work out! SHOCKED>.. couldn't pass up teasing you about that typo.. HOOVERING is the old word for vacuuming. The machines were made the the company Hoover eons ago in the 30s I think.. The women were hovering around you, for sure.
I went to grad school in my 50s and went to the gym there several days a week and though I noticed made up females at that gym and later at Tulane University's gym before the damned pandemic (it still hasn't reopened to the public. I see a trainer now...), I was never involved in such sashaying. So, I didn't focus on these females. Being that you're guys, I guess this would've been your focus. But I didn't notice much about the guys either. I was there for a short amount of time, had time pressures to get in and out so I could get back to schoolwork, or my grad assistant job, or other jobs I've had since then.
Maybe these thots don't
have jobs or many classes or are independently wealthy and have time on their hands. Young girls of a certain ilk and poor home training need a lot of validation. Though I've always enjoyed attention from a man I like, attention from ANY man, especially ones I don't know, has never floated my boat.
These poor women also have poor tastes. A little flirtation at the gym, however, can be fun. If you see the same people over and over and someone can give you some information about how they work out or your form. But there has to be some basis for talking to someone/flirting. You've seen them a lot. They recognize you... You're in their group class... Just wagging your tail around. Ugh. Not cool.
@Screenwriter Unfortunately, we're living in a time when younger generations, including my own, are taught by society and social media that their self-worth depends on how much attention and validation they can get from others. Even if they may be strangers. Hence why a gym has sadly become a place for many people to try and hook up or at the very least boost their egos by having many eyes turned their way. It's like social media, but instead of "likes", the amount of gazes one can get counts. No wonder the overall mental health of scoiety is in a decline.
It is not hard to spot the ones who are actually serious about their workouts, and it's a good thing they are still around. Sadly, others just care more about what's going on around them than focusing on their own workouts.
These thots are so shameless that they still try to grab the attention of someone who is clearly in a relationship with his partner right there with him. The funny thing is, the people whom I see regularly at the gym don't actually do this.
@TruthBringer I think this is mostly a matter of being very young. People usually get over this attention getting behavior because they ultimately know who they are and what they need. And at the gym, what you need is to concentrate on your workout so you can do it efficiently and well and get the hell out of there... Doing anything else is a waste of your time! Like you say, the regulars don't do this.
Makes us feel good and excited. Nothing to do with the male gaze AT ALLLLL.

@RandomGuy1030 I didn't really follow the trial so I can't say but honestly I've been w/ more women than probably 99% of men in the world and the reality is how they speak in private is way different than what they say publicly. The trick is you have to get them in their feelings about you privately and keep an abundance mindset. To many guys settle for the first girl that shows them the slightest bit of attention.

I've been to the gym a million times and I've never seen that happen... actually the majority of the gyms I have been to have a no camera policy... Then again I've never bothered to have 24 hour Fitness membership.

@SimpHunter007 Neither of those things are legal. assets divided after a divorce are based on state law and in the majority of cases personal assists stay personal. Men make up the majority of the judicial system…. Men are also less likely to get a lawyer when getting a divorce.

Feeling good about how you looks has everything to do with being perceived as good looking. So in the end, you're doing it for others. Not necessarily because make up on your face is actually comfortable.
