HELP why do I have itchy throat and coughing all week?

What do I have, infection? Virus? Covid? Phenonia? Allergic to air? I went to the emergency room but I waited 7 hours and never got seen. So I don't know what the fuck I have. One week I have itchy throat and cough. Followed be severe allergies but got cured when I took benedryl. Now I have itchy throat and cough throughout the day cough more if I go outside at night or in cold air. What is going on? One week itchy throat. I might go to urgent care Monday but I’m worried as again they won’t put my priority as I’m not gravelly sick like the other patients. I’ve also seen other patients cough WAY more than me but still mine is itchy cough that won’t go away. What do I have? First day I got fever and gone. If I don’t have covid what do I have?
