My dad built a pool for me and my bro. Since then i strated to swim when i was 10yo kid. And i invited my friends on the weekend to swim together pretty often.. time flies and i got busy with school and my bro left home cuz he went to college.. so i didn't swim that much again..
Back when i was in college, my besties invited me to swim, i meant its been years im not swimming anymore, thought i was forgot how to swim. Day one swimming was good but meh, but day by day we swam a lot, its not that bad tho.. the more i swim, the more im good at it, like sharpen my skill.. so yeah i know how to swim, just not an expert
Yeah. thanks to the pressure of some white lady pressuring the fuk out of me to little me being annoyed with her. Then when i swam without her watching me, I swam perfectly. Human minds are amazing. It was like a weight taken off my body.
I am no Michael Phelps but I am pretty damn good. I once was in the ocean and my life jacket got stuck and the of the googles somehow got stuck and I hit to quickly lift off. I ended up having to swim back to the boat in our group about 80-90 feet away with one arm with some small tidal waves coming though. So yeah I am pretty good. Cause the one arm was caught stuck in between my shirt and the life jacket shifted towards that side and trapped my left arm and came off.
Yes I grew up on a lake, so we were in it all the time.
Plus we took swimming lessons and I made it to lifeguard.
Never did anything with it, there weren't any lifeguards in our area.
I'm on the dive team on our fire department.
We have 5 lakes in our jurisdiction, so every so often we need to respond.

I sure do, do you? I'm about the age of 10:00 till I was almost 16 I was at the swimming pool everyday, all summer long
I'm not bragging, I'm not great shape but I can swim underwater all the way across the street. I haven't been in a few years but I love swimming
Good, yeah I wish I had an inground pool in my backyard. I had an above ground pool and it sprung a leak last year so I took it down
Well enough to not drown. I don't know what age I was when I learned how to swim, but it took longer than most of the kids I knew because I was afraid of water. I remember going to a lake and everyone left me to swim in the deep end, I felt left out so I taught myself (sort of) in the moment, lol.
I learned at age 8 when I was lying on my back in the tub and realized I was floating. I love swimming, it calms me down and makes me feel shower relaxed.
Yes, bur I'm no fish
I have weak swimming skills, I technically can swim, but have I don't have enough skills to save a life.
I pretty much do what I can just to keep my head above water
Yeah, sort of. I spent a LOT of time in my pool in the back yard over the 23 years that we had it so, I can easily get around like a dolphin but, I don't exactly do 100% well as far as swimming the way you're supposed to.
Enough to make it across a pool and enough not to drown. Bt put me in an ocean or lake with fishes and shit and i’d drown myself just at the thought
yeah but just not very well lol.
My favorite thing to do is to float
I dont! wish I do but honestly feel too embarrassed trying to go take swimming lessons now at my age to change that.
Yes. According to my father I could swim already as 2 years old. He said that he wanted to teach me how to swim but I could do that already.
All five of us do in our house. Fun and a survival skill. We love the water!
I'm not ready for Olympic competition, but I can stay afloat and move my body through the water, using various strokes.
I can't and I've never been near a pool. I never got the chance to.
That's really sad.
@Sparkie460 Yeah but one day I hope it happens.
Don't any of your friends have swimming pools?
@Sparkie460 I don't go to my friends house.
Oh. Ok
Yeah learned at 9yr for 6 months. Now I developed my own style
Nah I can a little enough to save myself but real swimming no
Yes very well, I swam competitively for years before becoming a life guard and swim instructor.
Yeaah, we learn swimming from an early age on and even have that as a subject in elementary school
yes, I learned how to swim while I was drowning by the beach... lmao
Sure. I've been swimming since as long as I can remember.
Yes. I’m not a strong swimmer but I can at least keep myself afloat. I’ll doggy paddle my way out of a situation if I have to lmao
I'm a fantastic swimmer, I have been swimming since I was a year old.
Yes, from early on and later, into my teens, I went every week.
I'm not quite as fit any more!
Yes. I can swim, and I am a certified SCUBA diver.
Yes, but I'm not very efficient. Even when I was in shape to run a 10K I could never do more than 3 up-and-backs in a regulation pool without stopping to rest.
Yes, have always liked swimming, and played water polo in my teens.
To swim through water is hardly swimming at all
yes, I used to swim a lot. Not so much anymore.
Freestyle yes... my dad taught us in the canal water in childhood
Very badly. Only learned at 37yr old, and with covid lockdowns haven't had much chance recently
I know how to swim but I am not a splendid swimmer.
Yeah. I'm not a god at it but Ik all the strokes and whatnot.
Yes and if you don't learn you can never know what could happen in life once you learn it you never forget it
I sure do. I grew up near the ocean and drowning was every parents nightmare so I was taught very early
If I jumped in a pool of water I’ll literally panic and drown.
Yes, I actually just came in from doing it. I have a pool at my house.
Lucky dog!
@Jamie05rhs my dog isn't that lucky now because she can't swim until Friday after next
@Jamie05rhs She needed eye surgery, and she had a growth on her side which the vet said was harmless, but removed it anyway since it kept getting bigger and she was already having surgery. They said she can't' swim for 14 days.
@Jamie05rhs she's fine now, but has to recover.
That's good. 👍
yes , i love to swim as a kid , now not so much anymore , i still can swim
Absolutely and I swim very well I think everybody should know with th
Yes, since water covers 75% of the planet. I thought it a useful skill.
Nope, I’ve never learned. What about you?
Well I am not all that good but it just try.
Yes , we had an above the ground pool 36 foot and went to lakes as kids.
Of course, I don't think I've ever met anyone who didn't know how to swim.
Yes, but not for long time
I love swimming!
Nope.
Doggy paddle.. that's it.
Yes thank you.
Yes. I learned it as a kid.
No, but I know how to sink :D
I’m a very good swimmer for mostly self taught.
I sometimes think I'm part fish. I love swimming.
Yes I learned as a kid what about you
What your preferred method of swimming 🏊♂️
Like for instance I like to swim freestyle and the backstroke what do you like
Nice I'm impressed
Yup. I'm self taught.
Yes I love to swim.
One thing I wished I learned to do
Very well. Yes
Yes, quite well.
Yes I know how to swim.
Yep. It’s a good sport to learn too!
Only with a rubber Duck.
Barely. I’m not very good at it though.
