May I ask what country it is?

Oh I am sorry. I hope your family and relatives are safe if they still live there.

I'm sure you do. We have beaches here in my country and I know the feeling.

Italy. It has many beautiful sandy beaches.

I see. There are so many beautiful spots in Italy. It's even difficult to choose which place to visit next. Did you visit Italy before 2016?

Me, too. Where I grew up, I never met anyone who couldn't swim... and hold your breath for long enough to get dunked under.

Swimming is a fantastic sport that complements tennis well by offering a full-body workout and helping with cardiovascular fitness. I enjoy swimming as it enhances my endurance and agility on the court. It also provides a refreshing break from intense tennis sessions, allowing me to relax and unwind while still staying active. Plus, swimming's low-impact nature is perfect for recovery and injury prevention. 🏊♀️🎾

I get by just adequately when swimming, so I don't swim as a sport.
The sidestroke is my go-to when long distances are encountered.
Severe spinal disc degeneration is a major decider of the ways in which I'm able to swim.
I have a backyard swimming pool that I enjoy hanging out in, occasionally actually swimming a lap or three.
As a younger man, I'd swim in lakes and rivers simply as a way to get refreshed from being out in the summer heat while fishing from my boats.

1 yI don't know if swimming is my sport; it is something I've never thought about. I just swim. Bodysurfing might be considered my sport but, again, it's just something I've always done. If there's water around, I'm in it!

m 1 yI regularly went swimming for years, at a certain point work came in the way and the habit went almost away. I still enjoy a nice beach holiday with swimming, of course.

1 yI know how to swim, just do it poorly - it is nothing I enjoy, the chlorine in swimmings pools fucks my skin up and I don't like the cold ocean.

1 yI know how to swim, though I'm far from a competitive swimmer. (Michael Phelps and Katie Ledecky have nothing to fear. 🤨) I enjoy spending some time in the water.
10 Reply Yes I can swim, I learned t a very early age, I enjoy it although my local pool was moved and you really need a car if you wish to use it now and the new pool is a 25m pool not a 50m pool I used to use.

I'm not an amazing swimmer, but I do really enjoy it. I specifically LOVE diving as low as I can and then seeing how fast I can go lol10 ReplyI used to love swimming, I don't do it anymore. I have an issue where I'm prone to infection and swimming in lakes/rivers even pools has a lot of bacteria. I do not want a recurrence of cellulitis or flesh eating disease, thank you.

1 yI know how, but my sinuses/eyes/ears don't want me to. I can try to swim and keep my head up, but that looks strange and isn't comfortable for my back.
