My dads doctor is 2 hours late, did he forget about the appointment?

I have had other doctors show up late, but this guy is almost never late for appointments.

Is this at his office? If so, ask one of the assistants what the heck. We all have things we have to do, that is why we schedule appointments - to arrange the time for both of us.

If it is at home, why? Doctors have many patients and do not have time to go to their houses.

You just mentioned it is a phone appointment. Even so, schedules are important to the patient as well as the doctor. What if I have to be someplace where I cannot talk with him when he finally decides to show up? I could be at a restaurant eating, or meeting a freind, or a hundred other things. And leaving you hanging is ridiculous.

Call the doctor's office. I've had phone appointments ahead of schedule time and very late. Sometimes doctors are unable to have patients stop talking and hanging up on them isn't practical.
