I did this because I limit my calories to about 1850 a day and I spend 3 hours working out at the gym 3 times a week.
My goal is for my body fat percentage to get to get to 12%, currently it’s at 18.5%.
At first, it is okay but when you start going past genetic potential it can be detrimental. For me as a fat fuck, I went on the low carb thing and lifting every day, and I lost pounds for a while... when I started to get muscular I actually started to gain weight in the other direction.
Just listen to your body. If you start feeling weak or no energy add some oats and fats to be able to keep going. The body runs differently once you're not running on fat that's stored in the body.
That's on the high side, especially considering that your body fat is already at a reasonable level. As your body fat decreases, it will be harder and harder to lose the weight.
Body fat percentage should not be the goal. The goal should be health. If you are eating right and getting good exercise, then you body fat should take care of itself and find it's own level. You shouldn't even have to pay attention to it.
You should know if you are in good shape and healthy without paying attention to body fat.
Incredibly unhealthy. Anything more than 1-2lbs per week, and you are prob losing a combination of water & muscle along with some fat. This is counter productive because obvs the water weight will eventually come back, and more importantly losing muscle mass will slow your metabolism and actually cause your body to burn less calories.

It's fine, especially in the beginning stages of exercise/calorie reduction. You will lose a lot of water weight early on and for an overweight adult male 4 or 5 LB a week is pretty normal weight loss at about 1800 calories with moderate exercise.
It's not. It isn't healthy to lose more than two pounds in a week.
But at the beginning of a diet, you often weigh five pounds less after a week, but you didn't actually "lose" that weight. Your stomach is less full, so you're just carrying around less water than you used to be.
After all, a pint of water weighs a pound. Drink one and you're a pound heavier. No one would say you just gained one pound.
Why do you want your body fat below 19%?
Try building more muscle. Try doing military calisthenics. You can find those exercises online, when completed the military calisthenics go for one to five miles. That is if you're capable of running if not get a bicycle and go approximately 6 MI in less than 30 minutes. That should help you.
Have you ever heard the adage more muscle burns fat? Over my 30 years in the military I've seen young men and young women kind of pudgy. By the time they reach the end of their 12-week training they have slimmed down.
It's probably fine but if you start getting headaches it is not fine.
no, it is best to lose weight slowly, one or two pounds a week.
If you can maintain health in your calorie intake, yes.
what is your waist length?
That's fine
