I find anything outdoorsy helps me. I found this out in my teen years.
Exercise has been found to be very effective at helping with depression and stress. I also found that taking a bath, going for walks outdoors, enjoying nature, painting helped me during difficult times.
A good workout, maybe a run, followed by self-analysis and meditation to find out if the depression stems from something I've done, said, or thought beforehand.

Always makes you feel better. Unless you have a migraine coming on. Then it’s a mistake. 🤯
Exercise raises endorphin levels in the blood. Same feel-good hormones as sex.
I run until my legs can't move anymore. Such an incredible feeling. Running literally is my escape when I'm feeling overwhelmed
I think so. I don’t get depressed much but do feel stressed and a good work out or bike ride makes me feel amazing.
Hobbies and journaling helps me. Gym has always been more of a chore for me.
Good for you. Getting out of the head and into the body is wise. I do yoga, dance, cycle and long walks
