Another shower question: Which is more important to you, water pressure or water temperature?

Its def a combination of both! Cold showers are awful, but weak showers are awful too! When I bought my house, I quickly discovered that the water pressure SUCKS! But an amazing plumber added something to my house that increases my water pressure (no idea what it is, but it runs off electricity, b/c I had to pay an electrician to wire it up! BUT⦠my plumber also earned my business for the rest of his career, b/c when I told him how much I hate weak feckless showers! He gave me a vintage shower-head that was made before they required those ālo flowā things that satan designed! I now have the best shower I have EVER been in in my entire life! AND⦠heās working on getting me a vintage (non lo flow) toilet that ACTUALLY flushes completely on the first go every time! God I love that plumber!
Have you ever had a shower with 2 showerheads in it? It's great if you have high water pressure and an 80 gallon hot water heater or tankless water heater. Otherwise, neither of you is going to stay warm for long when that hot water is used up.
@MCheetah That is not exactly what I meant. One shower had on each end of the shower, one for him and one for her.
I voted 'D', but after thinking about it, temp is more important to me. The perfectly warm temp is delicious. I couldn't live without it.
But pressure is also very important. Low pressure is frustrating and prolongs the shower. And I like the feeling of a good, strong spray.
Ten years ago or so, my wife were staying in a place in Mexico that had a great shower head. I was able to buy one just like it in town. The new one had one of those regulators but I unscrewed the back and removed it. I love my showerhead.
You had great shower head? Woo hooo!
Better than Golden?
Both are important to me. I don't mess around when it comes to my showers. That's why I have a shower head that displays the temperature via water pressure. 113 F is the perfect spot.

You're confused.
Lower water temperature means you will give yourself a cold or worse. Water pressure doesn't matter too much as worst case scenario you will just use a bucket and jug to bath instead of shower anyway.
I've been to some terrible B&B's where the shower was awful and it was quicker to just bucket and jug bath instead. But hot water is a must to be clean and refreshed.
Bella I voted that, like you, both are important to me. In the summer I don't want the water too hot and in the winter I don't want it to cold. And I agree with you that a shower would take longer if the pressure was too low, especially when it comes to rinsing out shampoo.
💦
I voted D because both are important to me. If I had to choose, I'd rather have hot water than good pressure. A lack of water pressure means it will take me a long time to wash my hair, but a cold shower would be absolute torture.
Temperature is a requirement, pressure is a luxury but of all the luxuries it is one of the best.
Having high water pressure really is very nice but it doesn't really count for anything if the temperature isn't right.
This is hard to chose.
Both are important.
Especially the warmth just right.
The pressure hitting my back feels so good too.
So i goin with equal
I need adqeuate pressure (volume flow) to get the dirt and suds outta my hair. Gotta wash down to the scalp, yknow.
But I do love having myself a warm shower or bath. Warm water is awesome. Its a luxury.
I remember when we had those things that went in the shower head that caused the water to just dribble out of it. I figure why have indoor plumbing if you can't use it? I like good pressure and not too hot.
I take that little device out of any new showerhead I buy. Just got a new one in October.
@TrueConfection me too. I even took the one out of the showerhead at the gym. I always try to use that shower,
ššš
Both are very important. In the winter I wait for lava and stay in until itās hard to breath. But pressure is super important too because it helps with loosening muscles and relaxing you.
D. is cheating. i chose temperature. i cannot enjoy a shower if it is cold unless i'm extremely hot
Both however, a cold shower with good pressure is more useless than a hot shower with low pressure bc I have neuropathy & cold water literally burns, I canāt stay in.
Unusually take āarmyā shower pressure (low) if showering alone. That way I can take a longer shower without feeling guilty. I need my hot eater though.
*water
Temperature. I can live with low water pressure but cold showers just remind me of my Navy ship in January.
Temperature is a must for me. Nothing is worse than being given a midget dick from cold water.
Have you removed the restrictor in your shower head?
Your shower head will have a little piece in it, you can remove it to significantly increase your water pressue
I'll do it for you mummy
Restrict this dick
Ok gay guy
I pulled the insert out of my rain head so now I get a lot more water out of it.
temperature and that is for sure sure, lol
it is a must, it HAS TO BE COLD AF
Both are equally important. It has to be a decent amount of force and I like my hot water, but not scolding hot.
Both are equally important, but pressure is more important for actual cleaning, whereas temperature is important for me to enjoy it.
And yes, I have tried both ends of the spectrum. 🥶
Got to be both. If it's cold, pressure would be better to get out quick. Good pressure and the right temperature makes it perfect.
Temperature. Any amount of pressure is acceptable as long as it isn't "biting" me.
