But don’t gauge progress on what the scale says. Judge it based on how you feel, how your clothes fit, feeling stronger, more energized. Because chances are you will gain some muscle, which weighs more than fat. May even increase your calories so long as it’s good for you. If you have a primary care provider I’d talk to them too as I nor does anyone else know your health status. Also maybe try something else like boxing for cardio, change it up. Waking can get boring. The same w your weightlifting if you choose to do that, change up the types of weightlifting exercises.
