Considering most women max out at 25 pounds, I'd say 40 for a woman is very good!
Hell, a lot of weak-ass men can't even curl 40! I used to curl 40s and 50s, back when I could tolerate still going to the gym every night.

Depends on many factors. Your size... are you top or bottom heavy, how often do work your top half... how many exercises do you do to work your top half each time you go in, rep amounts, etc. I'm a 24 hr fitness member and former national juniors tennis player. There's too little info here.

Heck no!😂
What you need to understand is, do not compare yourself with other people in the gym. The gym I joined, had amazing trainers. They always told me to focus on myself only, not others.
Because, lifting extra weights will just tear your body apart. It will be of no use. You just need to take weights that are suitable to you. Nothing else. Whether it be 10 lbs or even 5 lbs. It does not matter. It is a slow process. The one that takes years.
Slow down.
It's good, but that's not important. Is it good enough for you? Is it where you want it to be? Do you just want strength or are you exercising for other reasons

I will recommend you to search out here.Depends on several different factors. The build, health and age of the lifter and how well the weight is being controlled. Try 40 pound weights at 5 second reps for 4 sets of 10/12 and I guarantee most people are going to feel something
I would say a bit too much you should lift no more than 1/3 of your body weight.
so 40 x2 = 80 so, do you weight over 200lbs if not drop your dumbbells down to 20Yeah. Now try to get where you can do 4 sets of 25 reps per set.
Sounds pretty good. I think I'd have to see it in relation to your overall physique to say for sure though.
For a woman yes that is a good amount of weight to have in each hand.
Yes. It depends on what results you are looking for too.
That depends what your weight is. If you're new to lifting you should be able to lift at least half your body weight in a bench press.
that's really high, very strong.
Yes, most certainly.
Depends on your weight.
Yes, I would say so.
