I’ve been using the cup for about 7yr but something I’ve recently noticed is that when I first get my period I have UTI symptoms (urge to pee constantly but can’t) however after I pop my cup in all is fine. The UTI symptom has always been a thing but I’ve only recently noticed that soon after I pop my cup in everything is fine.
Has anyone else noticed or experienced this? Do y’all know why? I can’t find anything on it.

Its because of the closeness between the vagina and the bladder. You could be using the wrong sized diva cup. There is the diva cup for the vag that has split out a kid and the non kid version.
I experience the same thing with tampons. Although I’ve never used a cup. Maybe it’s just the pressure of having something inside of you for a few hours that’s sending mixed signals to your brain and making your brain think that you need to pee, since when the bladder is full, it puts pressure on everything around it.
