Choose a weight that you can do for 4 sets of 25 reps. Then increase to 2 sets of 35 reps and one of 30. Then work up to two sets of 50 reps. Then 4 sets of 50 reps. Keep going until you can do 100 consecutive reps.

Yes as long as it controlled. Also continue adding weight each week or so aka progressive overload. Girl you’re gains are gonna be phenomenal. Good luck!!!
It sounds to heavy to start with. If you are going for a muscular look the heavier the better, If you are seeking more strength or general health reps. are more important
30 lbs is too much for most women. I curl 12 or 15 and it's plenty.
If you can curl a 30 pound dumbbell that would be quite a feat.
Heavy weight, fewer repetition for muscle mass growth. Lighter weight, more repetition for burning fat/toning muscle mass.
Well depends what type of body you want. Heavier weight , less reps is for size gain. lighter weight , higher reps, more lean. I switch every few weeks or months between light and Heavey.
Sure. You need to maximize muscle atrophy
