I rarely have cramps, but I get a warm towel. Get it either wet from the water from the sink (do not use scalding hot water) or grab a nice warm dry towel that just got out of the dryer. Then drape it over your belly while laying down, breathing. Watch some T.V. or such. If you're too lazy for even that, naturally one would curl into a fetus position and hold the stomach. Drinking hot liquids will get rid of cramps. My mom makes me a warm pudding and it has always helped me. Also take a hot bath and put a heating pad on your tummy. Anything hot relieves cramps from my experience.

Make a hot water bottle and place it on your below stomach area. Then lie down and relax. You can also take a nice long hot bath. The heat seems to help a lot with these type of cramps.
