Do any of you people out there in internet land suffer from Epilepsy?

I suffer from Epilepsy and I want to know if any other people suffer from it to.

Are you okay? I don't but I used to live with a girl who had epilepsy she stayed until COVID happened then she had to go back to her state. I didn't know she had that she was always so bubbly and happy. One day she told me that casually that she would have seizures a lot as a kid and hit her head in the bathroom as she passed out but it doesn't happen once in a while now. I was very worried for her since then but she told me not to worry that it doesn't happen as much anymore but I'd make sure to get her medicines before they're finished as she would forget sometimes and postpone it as she was carefree. I was very happy to see that the time when we stayed together she never had an episode but I always felt that deep care for her like an older sister and mum even though she was only 4 years younger. I guess she got so brave that she didn't worry anymore but I know it can be unpredictable. It can strike anytime. I really hope you're okay.

I went 30 years without a seizure. I thought I outgrown it. But last Friday and Saturday I had 5 seizures. I ended up in the hospital

Oh God! That's terrible. I'm so sorry to hear that. 5 seizures in 2 days... that's a lot.
I can only imagine how exhausting, confusing and painful it must have been for you. I hope you didn't get hurt?

The only hurt I got was that I bite off the sides of my tounge off

Yikes! That burns like hell for days 😖 Just take care of yourself. Don't work or do anything for few days that will stress you out. You need to take it easy after your body went through all that. Hope you have a good day 😇

I was in the hospital all weekend. I was just released last night

I don’t know of any but my mom’s mom had them I heard but I never met her because she was gone before I was born. I hope you’re ok and getting help for it

Something triggered it , maybe stress or something else, I heard strobe lights trigger it

I had a major seizure that made me unconcious for 18 hours, nothing since though, friends told me I was talking bollocks for a few weeks beforehand,,,

My daughter was recently diagnosed with it. She seems to be okay and can drive a car again but she complains about the meds.
