Can a person be awake for 24 hours without the support of drugs?

Can a person be awake for 24 hours without the support of drugs? So that includes working during the day.. and working at night. Basically up from 7am-7pm

With relative ease. While it may be difficult pretty much everyone should be able to hsndle 48 hours. Possibly 72. Anything beyond that is a very different story.

Levels of exertion matter too. My personal record is a bit above a week, although that does include a few hours of sleep. Not many. A powerhour a few times. Would not recommend it. Brain stops working the way it should some days in. You do Feel very aware. Processing speed of a slug crossing the street though.

Of course. That’s the schedule I’m on now. Currently at work. I’m actually from 1830-0700. There’s times when I’m up about 32 hours. Other than soda which has caffeine I don’t use drugs to stay awake.

Yeah. Take my example. I woke up on Friday morning at 8am and have been studying the whole day and night for exams. Its 11 30am on Saturday now and i still haven't slept and im functioning fine. Without drugs..

Yess easily. I stay up that long all the time cuz I get busy caring for my kids and cannot sleep

Yes, even for 48 hours.

However between 48 and 72 (2~3 days) the sleepyness kicks in and you will fall asleep.

Absolutely. I'm routinely awake for 3 or 4 days at a time. It sucks but is certainly doable.

I've done it multiple times. Longest I stayed awake was almost 3 days.

You can stay awake a lot longer than that without any drugs.
