What if you are a Vet and the VA will not give you the drugs you need, like Adderall?

I take medication for it every day, which is a good 70 - 80% of it, but I also have to just shit other people have to as well for a functional life.

Keeping a good routine, stay focused in situations you need to instead of dicking around, and understand your body's limitations. For example, if I am off my medication, it's effects aren't as strong many hours later, or I am very tired, then it is not a good idea to put me behind the wheel.

Outside of that, if I am off medication, then I would say I am very distractable/unfocused, forgetful, lethargic, angry, lazy, and loss of interest in shit. My natural state (off medication) is a very unproductive person and a worse overall individual.

I'm not entirely certain that I do have it, but my voluntarily single mother used getting me diagnosed with it to extract a lot of resources from government and churches, and to get my pediatrician to dope me into being a zombie to make her life as a voluntarily single mother more convenient for her.

My friend was not diagnosed until he was 50. The VA diagnosed him. I am very close to him and I try to help him to make his symptoms easier on him. He is grateful for that.
But I must say, he drives me crazy at times. 🤪
