Yes this could happen. But if they can tell it's a new pregnancy and no obvious belly, i think they should make it part of policy they just tell them family she will be fine, the medical cause if a drop in blood pressure or soenthing and ask the patient if she is aware of her pregnancy. This can really ruin surprises.
