I was shaving shirtless and all of a sudden I felt the need to stretch my back, so I did. But while I was stretching I saw a blood vessel burst on the side of my abdomen, below the ribs. It was a relatively short, thin line, a little thicker than a hair strand, nothing serious. But immediately as I saw it I started panicking, and in the next 2 minutes or so, I started feeling shivers and then I started breathing uncontrollably. I was totally aware that my reactions were irrational, but I couldn't control them. After I stopped breathing heavily, I felt nauseous and I felt like I was going to faint. This never happened to me before. Was this a panic attack? Should I be worried that this happened? Should I go check a doctor? I am fine now, I just feel a little pressure in my head, but I am scared of what just happened.
Superb Opinion
Everything seemed normal response to a ruptured blood vessel until "pressure in my head" came up. That has nothing to do with your blood vessel in your stomach and if I'm reading this right it persisted AFTER your panic attack stopped? If so then I'd see a doctor in case there's some lab work they want to run.
