Men who have had the “no needle no scalpel” vasectomy, how was it? Recovery? Any lasting effects? My boyfriend is nervous, he doesn’t want it to effect his testosterone. Is finishing the same? Is it no longer white? Or any other info I can pass to him.

Chance of complications is very low, they only cut the tubes that carry sperm cells, the testosterone part is not touched and does not chance. Sperm cells make only up for 3% of the total volume, the rest comes out of the internal plumping, he won’t see the difference when ejaculating. He just needs to be 200% sure he doesn’t want (more) kids as reversals are expensive and have low success rates.

I’ve read about it, less pain to none but there is still a needle involved, recovery time is short, can’t have sex for 10 days after and can’t have unprotected sex until 90 days when they check the sperm count at the lab then everything is the same, same color of ejaculate since all from the prostate not the balls and almost the same amount
