Pregnant or what 😭?

Hey girlies, just wondering if anyone has ever done two clear blue pregnancy tests that were positive two days in a row then a first response very faint positive, then a another clear blue tonight but negative I’m racking my brain if I’m pregnant or not, and I’m now very confused to if I am or not, and I had a doctors at Telehealth booked, but it never actually happened on their part (super pissed)

It's difficult to say for sure based on the limited information, but here are some possibilities:

• False positives: Both blue line tests and digital tests can sometimes give false positive results, especially early on in a pregnancy. This is relatively common.

• Evaporation lines: On blue line tests, a faint second line that appears after the allotted time is called an "evaporation line" and is not a true positive result. Only lines that appear within the time frame count.

• Testing too early: If you tested very soon after conceiving, it's possible the hCG levels in your urine were not high enough to register on some of the tests. Some tests are more sensitive than others.

• Variation in hCG levels: The hormone hCG rises at different rates in different women, and can vary day to day. So one day you may test positive and the next day negative, especially early on.

• Chemical pregnancy: In some cases, a fertilized egg implants briefly but then fails to develop, producing a temporary rise and fall in hCG - hence the positive then negative results. This is considered a chemical pregnancy.

• Not pregnant: It's possible you're simply not pregnant and the previous positive results were false positives.

The concentration of the relevant hormones is typically higher with morning urine. I think it says it in the instructions, too. It will take longer until an existing pregnancy is detected also in the evening.

I expect you are pregnant given that you had a positive test in the morning.

It's a pretty sure fire bet that your pregnant... So now it's a simple case of having this confirmed by your Doctor/GP or Gynecologist.

My symptoms have gotten more distinct, nausea, pain in different parts of my belly, head aches and more non so pleasant ones. Still yet to get a blood test.

I would say that you’re very likely pregnant. You’ve gotten 3 positive results in a row. If you really want to be sure, go see your doctor and get a blood test done.
