Hey ya’ll. I’m kind of ashamed to admit it, but I have over 100 pounds to lose. I’ve been overweight my entire life and I just feel so lost and alone. Please send motivation and inspiration!
Also, it was recommended that I follow a diet that is low carb, but not keto. Does anyone have any recipes that are quick and easy? I hate cooking, but I do enjoy baking. Low carb desserts are appreciated too!

There is no one size fits all approach. I lost 45 pounds and have maintained around there. I counted my calories. There are calorie counters online where they have you input your age/sex/height/weight and it’ll give you a good idea on what your current maintenance calories and recommended deficits. If your current maintenance is 2500, for example, and you eat 2200 instead you will still lose weight. You don’t want to cut so drastically though that you can’t maintain it and you end up binging. You also don’t even have to exercise, your diet is the most important thing. If you do exercise cardio mixed with strength training is what I did. It helped me tone as I lost.
As for foods themselves I am a lazy cook. I just made eggs for breakfast with 35 cal toast then either broccoli or cauliflower with air fried chicken or salmon for lunch/dinner and got super creative with different seasonings. For snacks I tried to keep those at a 100cal or less so I could snack more. I would eat bananas, 100cal cliff bars, various fruits in general, beef jerky and sometimes chocolate. I would also only drink water, black coffee and unsweetened tea as it is super easy to drink your calories without meaning to. Just whatever you do it is okay if you don’t lose rapidly. Slower is easier to maintain and should help with preventing loose skin
Trust me on this I've lost significant weight over the last few years. It takes a lot of hard work and self discipline.
I do a LOT of cardio on the stair climber at the gym and calorie deficit.
forget diet. fasting hardcore is the fastest way to lose weight
How long and how often should I fast?
just stop when you get where you want to be
