I'm still kind of limping when I walk, but I kind of wonder if I need to start walking on it more to get it to loosen up some. It's pretty swollen still.

It popped real good about an hour ago and doesn't feel as tight now.

I would suggest you stay off a few more days and keep it elevated (like rest on the couch a few days).
Definitely don’t walk on it! A sprained ankle requires rest and not putting much weight on it. I’d recommend putting an icepack on it when you’re sitting or laying down, if you’re not already doing that.
It’ll heal faster if you’re not walking on it. Putting weight on it will only delay your recovery. If you keep off of that foot for the next week, you should be okay.
A couple of days.
I started moving more today. Mowed the lawn, but couldn't weed eat because it's still stiff and swollen, but as far as pain is concerned much better. I think the moving around it did bouncing around on the mower made it loosen up some. I imagine the swelling is what's keeping it stiff still?
