Is it possible for someone with terminal cancer to feel better?

A girl said that her mom is doing okay and feeling better. That doesn’t mean the cancer is getting better. She is praying for a miracle which is wonderful but the cancer is terminal.

This is what I said, “ At least you know it’s still terminal. Just because a cancer patient is feeling better doesn’t always mean the cancer is better. It’s terminal like you said and it must of spread. Your mom is dying so there’s no point in hoping for a miracle when you know she’s dying. I know this sounds harsh and you don’t wanna hear this right know, but it’s the truth. Enjoy your time with her and please make her happy. Praying for you. ”

Do you think it’s too harsh. I don’t think so because I told her the truth and she’s an adult so I won’t sugarcoat it.

Sometimes before some is going to pass, they get one last burst of energy. I don't know how long it lasts, but it's been known to happen. Then people think they are getting better sometimes when that occurs.

I still remember that President Trump approved this law (?) called "Last Chance". It's for people who are terminal to get one last chance to get medical treatment that they otherwise would not get. Don't quote me because it's been a long time since I heard him talk about it. But I think they give the patient Medical care that is in the experimental stages, or not FDA approved yet. I guess you could Google it.

No that was dick thing to say. When people get cancer they are usually always down and depressed. Like before they get they might be up beat and happy and to talk about things, but when they get it they usually seem like they don't care, but that's because they are very sick. That's rude telling someone to just feel better.

She probably used to have meaningful and loving conversations with her mom, but now she doesn't get to enjoy her time with her anymore because of the cancer. Her mom was probably always there for her and full of life and now that is zapped out of her.

And of course that has an affect her daughter and she just wants to keep those memories alive. They're fighting together so hard and you're going to disrespect their hard work and effort.

Look I’m not trying to make her feel bad, I’m just saying you can’t expect a dying patient to feel better. She probably was told her mom is feeling better but it doesn’t mean the cancer is getting better. I’m just telling her to get real and enjoy the time she has left with her. Yea telling a cancer patient to feel better is very rude because the person who said it is in denial that person is dying. This grown ass woman is going to have to accept that her mom is dying and there’s no way her mom is feeling better. She’s so dense.
